We recently submitted our app, for approval, but unfortunately, it has not been approved. Our team has worked diligently to incorporate innovative ideas, fresh designs, and unique features that we believe offer significant value to users. We’ve carefully followed the guidelines and ensured that all aspects of the app, including user data safety and security, meet industry standards.
Despite our efforts, we’ve encountered difficulties in getting the app approved. We would greatly appreciate your insights into the specific reasons for the denial and any areas that may require further improvement.
Any sort of help or guidance will be much appreciated.

Hello,
I received a notice from Apple on August 16th that my app would be removed if I didn't submit updates within 14 days. I immediately submitted the required changes the same day, and the app's status changed from "Waiting for Review" to "In Review" within 24 hours.
However, it has now been 7 days, and the app is still stuck in the "In Review" status with no feedback or response. With only 8 days left before the app is deleted, I'm becoming increasingly concerned. I've already requested an expedited review and reached out for support, but I haven’t received any response.
Has anyone experienced a similar situation or have any advice on how to resolve this?
Thanks in advance!
Im submitting a new App yesterday and included a video preview file for several size devices (6.7, and a copy of 6.7 for 6.5, 5.5 and 12.9). The iPhone files each took 5-10 minutes of processing (where the file icon shows a cloud image) but each eventually worked.
All files uploaded fine, but now many hours later a preview file (video) is still processing - is still showing a cloud icon. All these uploaded preview files are about the same size at about 40M.
The AppStore will not allow me to submit the App for review due to: Preview File Still Processing!
What is my recourse?
App got rejected due to following reason:
Developer tried two-factor authentication on the Test account.
Although, we have already added notes, that two-factor authentication has been disabled on that account.
How to resolve this?
Hi, I'm new to AppStore Connect, can anyone help me understand of how often it's ok to submit new app versions to AppStore Connect in terms of platform guidelines/restrictions?
It's clear that's probably most of users prefer less amount of updates. But as my app was just released few days ago I don't have any significant amount of users.
As I find more convenient for myself to deliver small improvements not stacked but with frequent updates, can anyone give any advice of would it be acceptable to deliver new updates every 1-2 days for the first month after app release? With the intention to make them more rare after a month or so?
Or is there any significant factors to make the updates not that often?
My game, whose design and coding parts were developed 100% by me from scratch, is online, but I cannot update it. Since the last time I tried to update it has been rejected due to copycat please help
Everyone, I received an email on July 14th that read as follows:
Hello Beijing DuoBaoLingDong Technology Co., Ltd
We're writing to inform you that your company isn't in compliance with the Apple DeveloperProgram License Agreement (DPLA)
Section 11.2 (Termination) states:
(g) if You engage, or encourage others to engage, in any misleading, fraudulent, improperunlawful or dishonest act relating to this Agreement, including, but not limited tomisrepresenting the nature of Your Application (e.g., hiding or trving to hide functionality fromApple's review, falsifying consumer reviews for Your Application, engaging in payment fraud.etc.).
Be aware that manipulating App Store chart rankings, user reviews or search index may result inthe loss of your developer program membership
Please address this issue promptly
Sincerely,
Apple
On the day we received the email, we found that when we searched for a very important keyword in the APP Store in China, our app could not be found at all, resulting in a sharp drop in the number of new applications. That keyword in China was artificially blocked by Apple. But other places like the United States can be searched normally.
We have analyzed it, and there may be the following three causes,
Use SKStoreReviewController to seek praise function;
Some of the keywords filled in do not have any connection with our APP, and may be suspected of rubbing words;
Recently, we have been advertising and promoting investment streams, but they are all formal platforms such as Pangolin and Kuaishou;
Therefore, the following three changes were made and the version was issued:
Remove the SKStoreReviewController review function code;
Modified the search keywords;
Stop the promotion stream
After the release of the version, I replied to Apple by email explaining the situation and our changes, but Apple did not reply to us.
It has been more than a month now, and that keyword is still blocked. Do other developers know how we should solve this matter?
Hi everyone! recently my app got rejected due to "spam", there isn't much in the app currently so I could see how it's not fit for release on the app store, but that wasn't what I was trying to do. Instead I was submitting a build for testflight external testing.
I've sent an appeal but after around 5 days I've heard absolutely nothing, so I was wondering if anyone else has had experience with issues like this and could help guide me to getting my build accepted.
For context, the only possible thing that I've been able to think of to be causing this "spam" rejection Is that around 20% of the assets for the game (including some promotional arts) are taken from an external website, these assets are allowed for commercial use, but aren't only able to be used by one person, so possibly some sort of bot automatically flagged my build as spam because it found another app using similar assets?
Like my post title?
I'm having issues getting my app accepted by the app store. I keep getting the message:
Guideline 2.5.1 - Performance - Software Requirements
Your app's binary includes references to HealthKit components, but the app does not appear to include any primary features that require health or fitness data.
I don't have healthkit implemented anywhere in my app. I sifted through my app and:
Healthkit is not implemented in my infoplist
There are no HK imports
My app doesn't reveal any references to "Health Kit" when I do a project wide search.
The only thing I can think of is that there's an issue with my use of firebase. I'm wondering if I somehow inserted healthkit functionality in to firebase accidentally.
Has anyone else had this problem before? If so, how did you solve it? Also. How do you rid of healthkit functionality or references to healthkit within firebase?
Hi my app has been rejected 3 times now and I’m not sure why. I can see clearly the requirement in the reviewers response but as far as I can see I covered everything.
here’s the rejection message:
Guideline 3.1.2 - Business - Payments - Subscriptions
3.1.2(c) Subscription Information Before asking a customer to subscribe, you should clearly describe what the user will get for the price. How many issues per month? How much cloud storage? What kind of access to your service? Ensure you clearly communicate the requirements described in Schedule 2 of the Apple Developer Program License Agreement.
Issue Description
The submission did not include all the required information for apps offering auto-renewable subscriptions. Apps offering auto-renewable subscriptions must include all of the following required information in the binary:
Title of auto-renewing subscription, which may be the same as the in-app purchase product name
Length of subscription
Price of subscription, and price per unit if appropriate
Functional links to the privacy policy and Terms of Use (EULA)
The app metadata must also include functional links to the privacy policy and Terms of Use (EULA).
ive attached an image of the subscription sheet.
can anyone help please.
My application was developed by myself There is a reason for being misunderstood Please allow me to provide some information:
My application has already been launched on a macOS platform version (temporarily called AAA).
I encountered difficulties in compiling the SDK, as it cannot be compatible with two platforms in the same project at the same time. Therefore, I have specifically developed an iOS version (temporarily called BBB) This version uses a different bundle ID from the plaintiff's macOS platform version, equivalent to two independent apps.
Then, the (BBB) version of my iOS platform was rejected. The reason was "4.3- Spam". I accepted this decision and did not attempt to apply for listing again, and deleted the relevant information.
Later on, I spent time and finally overcame the difficulties of SDK compilation, successfully developing an iOS version (temporarily called CCC) based on the macOS version, using the same bundle ID as the macOS version, which can be considered as the same app
My new iOS version (CCC) has always been considered similar to other apps and is not allowed to be released.
The above is the information I have provided.
I hope that the version of my iOS platform (CCC) can be launched I understand that there was a misunderstanding here, and I apologize for the similar judgment caused by my mistake in creating a separate iOS version
I am an independent developer and I have no experience in this area.
How should I operate to successfully list?
I'm currently working on an iOS app where I want to provide users with an in-app update feature. For this, I'm considering using SKStoreProductViewController to present the App Store page of my app, allowing users to update it directly.
However, I'm concerned about whether Apple might reject my app during the review process for using this method. Is using SKStoreProductViewController for in-app updates acceptable according to Apple's guidelines, or is there a better approach to handle in-app updates?"
This is the code below
func openAppStore() {
let storeViewController = SKStoreProductViewController() storeViewController.delegate = self
let appStoreURL = URL(string: "https://apps.apple.com/app/id333903271")! let parameters = [SKStoreProductParameterITunesItemIdentifier: "333903271"] storeViewController.loadProduct(withParameters: parameters)
{ _, error in if error != nil { UIApplication.shared.open(appStoreURL) } else { self.viewController?.present(storeViewController, animated: true) } } }
I've been waiting for more than 35 days to approve my app made by Wix and I still haven't received a response. The Wix workers say it's not their business and I don't know how to contact Apple or what I can do.
We've launched a new app, but it has already taken 7 days for "wait for review", we tried to figure out reason through ticket, but there was no response at all. Then we switched to expedite review which removed the previous queue and resubmitted another new queue, and it took 3 days, still wait for review.
Any idea or suggestions? Thanks in advance!
Hello
My game keeps getting rejected from App store connect because: Your app uses or references the following non-public or deprecated APIs:
Contents/UE/Engine/Binaries/ThirdParty/Apple/MetalShaderConverter/Mac/libmetalirconverter.dylib
Symbols:
• __dyld_get_image_uuid
So I tested uploading a default Unreal template and still get the same message.
Any ideas how to solve this? Feels like the dyld_get_image_uuids are build in Unreal so there is nothing I can do in Unreal?
In Terminal the Unreal default project looks like this:
find /Users/XXXX/Desktop/MCSPlain/Binaries/Mac/MCSPlain-Mac-Shipping.app/Contents/UE/Engine/Binaries/ThirdParty/Apple/MetalShaderConverter/Mac -type f -perm +111 -exec otool -Iv {} + 2>/dev/null | grep __dyld_get_image_uuid
0x000000000136079e 325004 __dyld_get_image_uuid
0x000000000167c4c0 325004 __dyld_get_image_uuid
0x00000000012c62a0 374767 __dyld_get_image_uuid
0x00000000015e8468 374767 __dyld_get_image_uuid
Any help really appreciated. I have struggled with this for two months.
XCode 14 and Unreal 5.0-5.2.
All the best,
Ramili
hi, I have updated my developer information months ago, it is almost before 30 days, I found that I could not submit any updates or new app to AppStore as it says "Note: Your developer information update is in process.".
I know it will take some time, as the document states it is about 1 or 2 weeks, however, it is now more than 30 days passed, it is still in process.
I am a little worried about what happened on this process?
I want to get contact with the right Apple employee, so that I could know what happened on it.
There're some updates and bug fixes I could not wait for more time, so if anyone know how to get it solved, it will be very appreciated!
Hello,
I am attempting to distribute my app as unlisted on the App Store, but my country is not included in the list of available regions for unlisted distribution.
Can anyone provide guidance on how to proceed with app distribution in this case? Or if I choose all countries after the app is approved can I send links for the countries that are not there and users install apps without issues?
Hello,
I got this message in my appstore connect. But after our account holder accept the updated agreement, it's still verifying. We can't upload a new build on appstore connect for 3 weeks already. Anybody have any idea how to solve this?
The updated Apple Developer Program License Agreement needs to be reviewed. In order to update your existing apps and submit new apps to the App Store, the Account Holder must review and accept the updated agreement by signing in to their account on the Apple Developer website.
This is the first subscription submission for this existing/distributed app.
This is the rejection message:
Specifically, your app did not load any subscription offers at launch and no further content could be accessed.
The app works correctly in simulator, on device and TestFlight. I am using a sync'd StoreKit configuration file.
The app has no functionality at all without the subscription being available to the app. It seems the app is being tested independently of the subscription upon first launch. Or said differently, the app is being tested without a subscription being available because the subscription has not been approved and available at the time the app is first launched for testing.
It seems the reviewers aren't making the subscription available at the time of launching the app for testing as is the case in XCode, on device and within TestFlight - the subscription is always available in those environs.
Is my analysis correct, close, a mile off or ...?
Thanks for your help and insight.
Hi everyone,
We're currently facing an issue while updating our application. It's being rejected due to a performance issue noted as: "Your app displayed a blank screen when we attempted to login." The issue is straightforward: the Apple reviewer encounters a black screen post-login, and Apple has provided the iPhone model and iOS version used. In response, we've submitted five screen recordings from five different iPhone models and iOS versions, demonstrating no issues post-login, using actual phone to clarify that we are not using emulators. We've even included screen recordings from the same model and OS version as the reviewer's, along with four additional models and OS version, yet the submission continues to be rejected.
We've previously faced a similar issue when an Apple reviewer was testing on an iPad. We responded with four screen recordings from different iPads, which resulted in approval without any code changes or version updates. Unfortunately, this time the rejections continue, despite extensive testing with multiple actual iPhones.
Any suggestions on how we can resolve this situation?
