PLZ HELP!!! Enrolled, Paid, but App Under Review for Over 2 Months
Not the kind of review we all went through to get enrolled. I was told the reason was that we did some abnormal action (turned the app from Active to Inactive, our bad, prob dev team was doing some test before launching). But it has been more than 2 months, we are really desperate. We removed the app off the platform to avoid affecting user experience (bugs are there but we can no longer update the app to fix). Marketing gotta be done, salaries gotta be paid, so we are hopeless looking for a solution. Anyone in the same situation or anyone knows a way we can do to fasten the review process? All we have to do is wait, but we don't know how long it will take so it's really clueless.

Asset Validation failed for .ipa file in transporter
I have spent time developing a MAUI project and have successfully released the android app for some time now but apple has been coming up with different issues. See the description of the latest issues as reported in transporter. Asset validation failed (91111) Missing app icon. Include a large app icon as a 1024 by 1024 pixel PNG for the 'Any Appearance' image well in the asset catalog of apps built for iOS or iPadOS. Without this icon, apps can't be submitted for review. For details, visit: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/xcode/configuring-your-app-icon. (ID: eb3a7e69-d31c-4277-bec8-350e309412aa) Asset validation failed (90022) Missing required icon file. The bundle does not contain an app icon for iPhone / iPod Touch of exactly '120x120' pixels, in .png format for iOS versions >= 10.0. To support older versions of iOS, the icon may be required in the bundle outside of an asset catalog. Make sure the Info.plist file includes appropriate entries referencing the file. See https://developer.apple.com/documentation/bundleresources/information_property_list/user_interface (ID: 7661855d-86e9-4ed9-8eff-948f723e4234)

What to do to get an IOS App accepted with OpenSSL
Hi, our IOS App will use the OpenSSL library for a secure websocket communication with network devices. As far as i have understood we need to provide "Export compliance documentation" because we are using "standard encryption algorithm instead of, or in addition to, using or accessing the encryption within Apple's OS". But the documentation here does not indicate that we need to provide anything. Independently of that, the App needs to include a Privacy Manifest, right ? How does that look like ? Thanks in advance

Stuck with "In Review" app review status for 1 weeks
Hi, We urgently need clarification on why the review of our app, Health Guru: Planner & Tracker, is taking so long. We submitted the update on October 8, and while it moved to "In Review" within a few hours, there has been complete silence since then—no updates, no visibility into the process. This delay is causing serious issues on our end. We’ve contacted Apple Developer Support multiple times, but all we’ve received are generic responses stating that the review is still ongoing. We also requested an expedited review, but days have passed without any reaction. This update is critical because our app is a health application. We have fixed bugs and submitted multiple times, so the review time is taking too long. From our side, we have emailed many times but have not received any response about when we will get results. We can’t afford further delays—users are waiting for these features, and the lack of progress is disrupting our rollout plans. Please advise us immediately on how we can move this forward or escalate the review. Thank you for your urgent attention.

App with Sensitive Content Filtering 'In Review' for 2 Weeks – Seeking Advice
Hello, I’m facing an issue where my app has been stuck "In Review" for 2 weeks, and I'm not sure how to proceed. The app was rejected on October 1st under "Guideline 1.1 - Safety - Objectionable Content." I resubmitted a revised version on October 3rd, and the status changed to "In Review" on the same day. The revised version included strengthened content filtering to fully address the issue. Additionally, to further ensure that no inappropriate content is displayed, I implemented Apple's "Sensitive Content Analysis API" as an extra measure. In the latest submission, I was asked to provide additional information under "Guideline 2.1 - Information Needed" regarding the use of the Sensitive Content Analysis API. I have already provided the required explanation, but it's been 2 weeks without any progress. I also submitted a formal request to the App Review Board a week ago, but have yet to receive any response. In addition, I have requested an expedited review, but there has been no update so far. The app worked perfectly fine on iOS 17, but a significant performance degradation occurred on iOS 18. The version I submitted includes critical fixes for this issue. Complaints from users have been increasing, and I am eager to release the update as soon as possible. Has anyone experienced similar issues? Any advice on how to speed up the process would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Reject from Apple for In APP Purchase
I get the meesage from Apple review team about my rejected application. What should I do for this? Guideline 3.1.2 - Business - Payments - Subscriptions Issue Description The submission did not include all the required information for apps offering auto-renewable subscriptions. Apps offering auto-renewable subscriptions must include all of the following required information in the binary: Title of auto-renewing subscription, which may be the same as the in-app purchase product name Length of subscription Price of subscription, and price per unit if appropriate Functional links to the privacy policy and Terms of Use (EULA) The app metadata must also include functional links to the privacy policy and Terms of Use (EULA). Next Steps Update the app's binary to include the following required information: A functional link to the Terms of Use (EULA) A functional link to the privacy policy Update the app's metadata to include the following required information: A functional link to the Terms of Use (EULA). If you are using the standard Apple Terms of Use (EULA), include a link to the Terms of Use in the App Description. If you are using a custom EULA, add it in App Store Connect. A functional link to the privacy policy Resources Review Schedule 2 of the Apple Developer Program License Agreement.

Unable to add subscription
We have subscriptions for our app that are in the "waiting for review" state. The subscriptions page has the message "Your first subscription must be submitted with a new app version. Create your subscription, then select it from the app’s In-App Purchases and Subscriptions section on the version page before submitting the version to App Review." However I don't see any section in the app to enter this. It seems to be a similar issue to what is being described at https://stackoverflow.com/questions/73098652/app-store-connect-in-app-purchase-and-subscriptions-section-missing?rq=2, but I have all requirements fulfilled; all compliance and tax forms have been completed, and I have made changes to my subscriptions in response to app review. I did add these subscriptions to my app in a previous round in the approval process, and I thought that was why it wasn't appearing now. However, my app is now live and users are not seeing the subscriptions options when they try to enter the app (which had previously worked in sandbox mode)

Reviewers are testing an old version
Hi everyone, We've submitted my app for review several times, making improvements with each submission. However, the reviewers keep providing generic feedback and irrelevant complaints. For example, we changed the logo and primary color, so it's clear they aren't reviewing the correct version. We've ensured that the latest version was properly uploaded for review. They also keep claiming the app contains "testing data" like lorem ipsum, but none of that is in the database anymore. I'm at a loss here. Does anyone have any advice on how to resolve this?

How to Publish App as Public in the App Store for Business Use
I’m currently trying to distribute my app on the App Store, but I received the following response during the review process: "We found in our review that your app is intended to be used by a specific business or organization, including partners, clients, or employees, but you've selected public distribution on the App Store in App Store Connect. Since the App Store is intended for apps with a public audience, we recommend reviewing the other distribution options available to you through your Apple Developer Program Account." My app is primarily for business use, but it's designed to be accessible to multiple companies who register with us, rather than being limited to just one specific organization. It doesn't contain any features for the general public at the moment, but I do want it to be available publicly on the App Store for any business that registers. Can anyone guide me on why my app was flagged during the review process and how I can adjust my submission to ensure it can be published as a public app in the App Store? Thanks in advance!

Stuck with "In Review" app review status for 3 weeks
Hello, Is it a normal/usual/expected practice that a Mac App Store submission of a Safari extension takes 3 weeks to review? We have submitted an update for our Safari extension on September 20. Few hours after the submission we got an update stating that the submission state changed to "In Review". Since then it was a complete silence. No updates, no visibility of progress, nothing. We tried to ask Apple Developer Support for help several times and every time got a quite generic response stating that it's still in review which is not helpful considering it takes so long. We also tried to expedite the review a couple of days with no reaction so far. So I am at a bit of a loss on how to proceed. The reason we are stressing this out in several channels is this Safari extension update brings compatibility fixes for the recently released Safari 18 and we are getting customer reports that the old version is not working with Safari 18. That was expected but the hope was that review will not take 3 weeks to complete. Any advice from Apple here or anyone else how to proceed?.. Thanks!

4.3.0 Design: Spam
Hello fellow developers and Apple employees As I'm sure we're all tired of seeing, my app has been rejected under 4.3.0 Design: Spam I am frankly struggling to understand the logic. Here are the main features of my 2D Arcade game: simulation of flying above a field of lava. This is a tense experience! One mess-up, and the player is sent to the lava below! it has a jetpack which continuously uses fuel. Again, tension! You have to be careful about when and where you glide--can you grab that fuel pod? Oh no--it disappeared! it allows players to glide and fly around the map. Gliding gives a brief respite from the tension. Flying lets the players explore the fascinating world of Hokusai's 40 views from Mount Fuji. it allows players to collect fuel pods, refueling their jet pack. This reward not only allows them to play longer, it bumps their score, and promotes a goal of beating previous scores. it allows players to view a parallax background of woodcuts from 40 views from Mount Fuji, a famous work by Hokusai, which broadens cultural boundaries it requires players to dodge red clouds, which end the game. These clouds are nefarious--they follow the player around! it allows players to rest on white clouds, which restores their fuel. Again, a relief from the tension. the white clouds disappear after a moment, adding an element of tension--wouldn't it be nice if they lasted forever? Sure--but then the game would be boring and repetitive (and it WOULD be spam) Architecture: Godot using GDScript I admit--I initially included reference material that was not mine to distribute. 100% my mistake, and I removed that prior to resubmitting. Now though, my app continues to be rejected as spam--this most recent rejection occurred within 10 mins of the last submission. I'd be happy to post my game online if someone would like to play. Yes, it's simple--and yes, it's arcade-esque. Has anyone successfully reversed a 4.3.0 Design Spam designation on an app? I would rather not create a new app to submit, as I understand that is against the TOS--but is a commonly discussed workaround. Is it because I'm using GDScript? Should I rewrite into c#? I don't know that I can "fix" my game, as it's intended to be quite simple.

App review getting rejected because of 2.1 - Information Needed
I’m facing a challenge with the App Store review process for my app to launch on Testflight, and I’m hoping for some advice or insight from the community. Our app exclusively uses passkey authentication—no passwords are involved. Passkeys are stored on the user's device and in their cloud account, making it impossible for us to provide the traditional username/password combo that the App Store review team requested and we are getting our review requests rejected because of this. There’s no way to grant access to an already created passkey or use any other form of authentication. The only viable option is for the review team to create an account themselves using passkeys, which works seamlessly in our app. Has anyone else dealt with a similar situation? how can we approach it? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Stuck in Review Process Due to Login/Registration Issue – Works on Our End, Can't Reproduce
Hi everyone, We're currently stuck in the final stage of the App Store review process for our app, and we're encountering an issue related to the login and registration system. Here's the situation: Signing up and logging in with the provided username/password works perfectly fine on all our test devices (simulator, iPhone, etc.). However, Apple has sent us screenshots showing that they're experiencing login/registration issues during the review process ("Invalid number" on create account and "Could not parse number" for login). We haven't been able to reproduce the bug on our end, no matter what we try. We’re starting to wonder if this could be related to location or some other variable we're not considering. Has anyone experienced a similar issue with the App Store review process? Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Appstore Reject my crypto decentralized wallet app.
Your app facilitates the transmission of a virtual currency but does not meet all our requirements for apps with cryptocurrency exchange services: The storefronts you selected in App Store Connect include locations where you or your third-party service provider(s) have not provided supporting evidence of permissions, registrations, and/or licenses to distribute an app with exchange services. These requirements help prevent fraudulent transactions from occurring in exchange apps on the App Store. Anyone who got approved wallet app recently, Please help me.

Guideline 5.2.3 - Legal - Intellectual Property - Audio/Video Downloading
Hello everyone, I developed an iOS mobile application that allows users to download videos from platforms other than YouTube. However, Apple rejected my app due to Guideline 5.2.3 - Legal - Intellectual Property - Audio/Video Downloading. Some apps also offer similar features. So, how were these apps published? If anyone has a similar experience or knowledge about this, could you please help? Thank you!

English is missing from my languages on the App Store
I updated my app to support additional languages. However, when I checked the app in the App Store, the English language seems to have been removed. Here's the screenshot in my App Store Connect (Default English) App Store - Header (No English) App Store - Information - Languages (No English) Xcode - Project Info (Default English) Xcode - String Catalog (Default English) How can I get it back? Do I have to translate English to English in my String Catalog? or is this an error in the App Review side? I checked other apps supporting multiple languages and the still have English showing.
