Can volunteer groups apply for a developer ID ?
There is a volunteer run group on GitHub who maintain a well known public domain cross-platform Python script. They build binaries for Linux, Windows and macOS. The macOS binaries are only ad-hoc signed. Thus, in macOS 15, they are rejected by Gatekeeper – requiring user intervention to be used. There are a lot of components each of which must be approved in "Settings" with admin credentials. It would be best if these binaries were code signed. However, the core group of devs changes over time and so, using one person's name might not be ideal. Can such a volunteer group apply for a developer certificate so that they can sign the macOS binaries ? I ask because Apple's requirements for enrolling in the Development Program include that an organisation be a legal entity and this group is not a legal entity. Thnaks.

After renewing, Apple Developer account still says expired. Also a login issue discrepancy between devices.
I renewed my Apple Developer membership today. I have an email notification from my bank confirming the transaction, and an email confirmation from Apple where when I click on the order number in the email and log in, the page says Enrollment Complete. Yet in my Apple Developer account dashboard, it still says my membership is expired, with a renew button. I tried a different browser with a clean cache, same issue. So I think something is broken. On a side note, when I tried to renew via my MacBook earlier, for some reason my password would not work at the point where it was asking me to log into the store for checkout (store.apple.com), even after resetting my password. But when I tried it on the browser on my Pixel phone, exact same pages and password, it worked. Not sure if related to the above. Contacted Apple Support but in the meantime would like to see if anyone here has any suggestions for a faster resolution.

"Build failed" with developement team already signed
Hello everyone! I’m new to this forum and have never designed an app before. I’ve used Unity and Xcode. When I launch the build in Xcode, it always replies “Build Failed.” I’ll explain the problem and attach some screenshots. The app I’m trying to launch comes from the Unity platform (version 2022.3.46f1) + Vuforia for augmented reality. Everything works well on this platform (I’ve already checked it); I export the project into a specially created folder after clicking on “Build”; I open the project in Xcode version 16.0 (I downloaded this application a few days ago); I connect my iPhone and my Apple ID by going to “Xcode” > “Settings” and linking my account; to connect my iPhone, I go to “Window” > “Devices and Simulators” and link everything; then I go to “Targets” > “Unity iPhone” and check in the “General” and “Signing and Capabilities” sections to ensure everything is correct; I then change the development team name to my account “MARCO ARICO” (previously activated on Apple Developer with an already paid annual subscription) and check that the “Bundle Identifier” is the same as the one I entered in Unity under “Player” > “Other Settings.” At this point, I send the Build, and after a few moments, it says “Build Failed” with this error: “/Users/albertodanielemanzo/Desktop/Unity/App_7/Unity-iPhone.xcodeproj Signing for 'Unity-iPhone' requires a development team. Select a development team in the Signing & Capabilities editor.” I would like to add that the Mac I’m using belongs to a friend who specifically lent it to me to launch this app, and all the steps I took are based on in-depth research from YouTube tutorials and official Unity and Xcode forums. The computer I’m using is a MacBook Air with macOS Sonoma 14.6.1, which belongs to my friend who lent it to me. All subscriptions are under my name. My username is the same as the development team name (Development Team); the subscription I have with Apple is individual, as are my downloaded certificates for app development. I have already addressed the issue with Apple Developer support, and they advised me to write on this forum.

My account holder access is blocked
The Account Holder is no longer able to log into apple (regardless of web-based or device based attempts). The membership will expire soon without access to the account holder. Both workflows "iforgot.apple.com" and "iforgot.apple.com/unlock" did not lead to an answer email within several days. I tried several times. So we are almost out of store without any option. Hotline did not show other options. Any ideas?

The account is suspended and paying is not completed
it's been 48 hours and I still haven't received a link where I can upload an ID, nor have I been able to pay. My account has been suspended and paying transactions cannot be completed no matter which card I try. I need to send a link where I can upload an ID and speed up the registration process. I have written my mobile application, completed its codes and now I have to publish it. My client is waiting for the application to be published. I need urgent help with this.

Apple requests too much documents for enrollment
I've been trying to enroll to Apple Developer Program for my company. They requested the documents below Applicant’s government-issued photo ID Applicant’s employment verification Business documents for B***: Extract from the Commercial Registry (officially signed and stamped) Latest version of the company's Articles of Association Details of the company's tax office and tax number A recent signatory circular of the company With a note: If your documents aren’t in a supported language, please include solicitor-certified English translations. I've uploaded the original documents and the computer generated translations but they didn't except it. Translating these documents costs about 1500 USD and small companies like us can't afford the translation cost. Minimum wage is not even 500 dollar in my country. I've enrolled the Developer Program before and they only needed the DUNS number, which I already provided. I've asked in social media and someone based in my country enrolled the program about two months ago with only a DUNS number. Has anyone ever encountered this issue? Is this a new policy? I couldn't find anything about this policy on the web.

Incorrect Company Name Displayed in TestFlight Invitation
I received two different emails from Apple regarding my developer account: An App Store invitation email stating: "You're invited to join a development team, Acme Corp, in the Apple Developer Program so you can help develop, distribute, and manage their apps." The company name here correctly shows "Acme Corp." A TestFlight invitation email with the subject line: "TechSolutions LLC has invited you to test ShopEasy." In this email, "TechSolutions LLC" appears as the company name, but it should be either "Acme Corp" or simply the app name, "ShopEasy." For context, I have two apps in my account: ShopEasy and TechApp. They are created as separate apps under Acme Corp, which is the entity registered in my Apple Developer account membership. Despite this, when I build ShopEasy for TestFlight, the email subject uses "TechSolutions LLC" as the company name, which is confusing for testers. Could someone help me understand where "TechSolutions LLC" is coming from, and how I can fix this so that the correct app name or entity (Acme Corp) is shown in the TestFlight emails? Thanks for your assistance!

Как оплатить членство в Беларуси | How to pay for membership in Belarus
I've been trying to pay for my membership for a month now, but I can't do it. I have tried many times through the site, money is not debited from three cards, the letter does not arrive. It did not work through the application on the iPhone, too, I stayed with three cards and wrote that it was impossible to complete the payment with an unknown error.

Renewed Expired Developer Account, Paid, but still marked as expired
I had previously been enrolled in the Apple Developer Program but because was not releasing apps I let it expire. Now I want to release a new app and need to renew the account. For this I logged in into the developer.apple.com portal and clicked the "Renew membership" button and went thgrought with the purchase, which was successful, and my card was charged and I received the confirmation order email from the apple store. Now my developer account still says it's expired and there is no way to contact support. Does it take a few days to activate?
