Recently I started getting emails from AppStoreConnect when I submit new builds The email states:
ITMS-90863: Macs with Apple silicon support issue - The app links with libraries that aren’t present in macOS: /usr/lib/swift/libswiftCloudKit.dylib
I can run this app on apple silicon from TestFlight or directly from Xcode and it runs just fine including all iCloud functions. This app has been using iCloud for several years now.
So my question is: Should I just ignore the email or do I need to change something to bring this app into compliance?

We're trying to enable Apple Pay on the Web for a web application of ours, but getting this error when trying to construct the PaymentRequest object:
TypeError: Type error: PaymentRequest@[native code] startApplePay@https:-myurl-:319:47 onclick@https://-myurl-:606:14:undefined
I'm attempting to add a sandbox user to test web Apple Pay. Accessing Users and Access -> Sandbox gives me more often than not the error: "Something went wrong. Try again later." Attempting to add a new tester gives me the same error. I've been trying this since yesterday, so it's more than a transient error.
Hello,
I've recently created a merchant ID and added two domains to it. I placed the verification .txt files in the right place (under the .well-known dir) and both verified successfully and show as such in the merchant id setup page.
I am intermittently getting the following error:
{
"statusMessage": "Payment Services Exception merchantId=XXXXX not registered for domain=my.domain.com",
"statusCode": "400"
}
(merchantId and domain have been masked in the above error) -- What's odd is that this is intermittent -- It'll work fine, and then stop and start giving the above error, and then start working fine again, with no intervention from me.
Some context: This is a single server application, so it's not like we've got a server out of sync somewhere.
Thoughts?
Any thoughts?
Hi, I'm developing a Live Activity Widget that shows a count down timer.
In the current solution I have a stop watch that is responsible for handling the start, stop, resume, reset function.
When the stop watch starts I have timer that calls on an updateTime function every 0.2 seconds. This works well.
The problems comes when I try to use my stop watch in the Live Activity Widget. I have a timer that updates the live activity attributes with content every 0.5 second.
// Start the activity
let activity = try? Activity.request(...
DispatchQueue.main.async {
self.logger.log("Start internal timer")
self.timer = Timer.scheduledTimer(withTimeInterval:0.5, repeats: true) { _ in
self.logger.log("Update activity widget.")
self.updateActivity()
}
}
Is this a correct approach? If not what should I use to implement a stop watch with a count down timer and a corresponding progress bar/view?
The same problem encountered with iOS 17 beta 1 and beta 2 is back:
Unable to create a secure connection to the server ("bad certificate format" -9,808).
Problem
Our app use UIPasteControl for people taps to place pasteboard contents in UITextView.
It worked fine at first, but recently received a lot of user feedback and the button suddenly disappeared
This problem usually occurs when an App switches between the front and back
More Information
When the button disappears, we find that the child view of the UIPasteControl control which name _UISlotView has a size of zero.
we use UIKit and AutoLayout,limit button size (100, 36)
let config = UIPasteControl.Configuration()
config.displayMode = .labelOnly
config.cornerStyle = .fixed
config.baseForegroundColor = .white
config.baseBackgroundColor = .black
config.cornerRadius = 18
let btn = UIPasteControl(configuration: config)
pasteBtn = btn
addSubview(pasteBtn)
pasteBtn.snp.makeConstraints { make in
make.trailing.equalTo(-20)
make.bottom.equalTo(-10)
make.size.equalTo(CGSize(width: 100, height: 36))
}

anyone meet before? is there a workaround?
Hi,
I am trying out the new UITabBar stuff in iOS18, and I don't think it'll be a good fit for my app. Is there a way to revert to the old iPad UITabBar look and placement that we've been using before? I don't want to make such a big change like this just yet, but I would need to make other changes to the app as well and I don't want to use the new UITabBar just yet. Is there a way to achieve this?

On macOS Sequoia, the settings to enable FIFinderSync seem to have gone. I have already figured out that Extensions are no longer in the Privacy & Security section, but they are now at General › Login Items & Extensions. Here there is a Finder section, but that is just for the Finder-Extensions, not the Finder-Sync-Extensions. Those previously did not have their own section and were hidden away in the Added Extensions section that apparently no longer exists. I expect that it has been forgotten when migrating.
Where are the settings for this – have they been forgotten?
The new Mac virtual display feature on visionOS 2 offers a curved/panoramic window. I was wondering if this is simply a property that can be applied to a window, or if it involves an immersive mode or SceneKit/RealityKit?
I was hoping for an update of SwiftData which adopted the use of shared and public CloudKit containers, in the same way it does for the private CloudKit container.
So firstly, a big request to any Apple devs reading, for this to be a thing!
Secondly, what would be a sensible way of adding a shared container in CloudKit to an existing app that is already using SwiftData?
Would it be possible to use the new DataStore method to manage CloudKit syncing with a public or shared container?
It’s great that we’ll be able to use Metal custom renderers in passthrough mode on visionOS.

This is a lot of complicated set-up, however. It’s also unclear how occlusion and custom algorithms / raytracing will work in tandem with scene understanding. May we have a project template and/or sample? Preferably with the C api and not just swift. This would be much-appreciated and helpful to everyone who wants this set-up. I’d like to see the whole process.
Thank you for introducing this feature!
I'm currently using Xcode 16 Beta (16A5171c) and I'm getting a crash whenever I attempt to fetch using my ModelContext in my SwiftUI video using the environment I'm getting a crash specifically on iOS 18 simulators.
I've opened up a feedback FB13831520 but it's worth noting that I can run the code I'll explain in detail below on iOS 17+ simulator and devices just fine.
I'm getting the following crash:
*** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: 'The specified URI is not a valid Core Data URI: x-coredata:///MyApp/XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX'
It's almost as if on iOS18 SwiftData is unable to find the file on the simulator to perform CRUD operations.
All I'm doing in my project is simply fetching data using the modelContext.
func contains(_ model: MyModel, in context: ModelContext) -> Bool {
let objId = palette.persistentModelID
let fetchDesc = FetchDescriptor<MyModel>(predicate: #Predicate { $0.persistentModelID == objId })
let itemCount = try? context.fetchCount(fetchDesc)
return itemCount != 0
}
I've just tried to update a project that uses SwiftData to Swift 6 using Xcode 16 beta 1, and it's not working due to missing Sendable conformance on a couple of types (MigrationStage and Schema.Version):
struct LocationsMigrationPlan: SchemaMigrationPlan {
static let schemas: [VersionedSchema.Type] = [LocationsVersionedSchema.self]
static let stages: [MigrationStage] = []
}
struct LocationsVersionedSchema: VersionedSchema {
static let models: [any PersistentModel.Type] = [
Location.self
]
static let versionIdentifier = Schema.Version(1, 0, 0)
}
This code results in the following errors:
error: static property 'stages' is not concurrency-safe because non-'Sendable' type '[MigrationStage]' may have shared mutable state
static let stages: [MigrationStage] = []
^
error: static property 'versionIdentifier' is not concurrency-safe because non-'Sendable' type 'Schema.Version' may have shared mutable state
static let versionIdentifier = Schema.Version(1, 0, 0)
^
Am I missing something, or is this a bug in the current seed? I've filed this as FB13862584.
The Translation API introduced at Session 10117 is impressive, but limiting it to SwiftUI is restrictive.
This API works great in the demo, but for more complex apps, it lacks flexibility because it is bound to SwiftUI Views.
Please consider making it available in non-SwiftUI environments.
Is MultiPolygon overlay support going to be integrated with SwiftUI?
I have made a post on here previously without a reply :(
Any suggestions on how to display multi-polygons within MapKit for SwiftUI(https://developer.apple.com/documentation/mapkit/mappolygon)?
At the moment it is not supported and only supported by MapKit for UIKit(https://developer.apple.com/documentation/mapkit/mkmultipolygon).
I developed it as Unity. Originally, I updated Unity to the latest version to fix the problem of not being able to log in to Apple. That's when I found out my team ID had changed.
The current Apple membership team ID is HBEMGSUAQ3, When I check "Automatically manage sing" in Xcode Selected with the team ID "ESB392LR64". Where did this team come from all of a sudden? I've only used "HVEMGSUAQ3" for a very long time. The change in ID was a test build while developing another project yesterday, but it changed then.
If I manually select the provisioning profile of my project "Failed to install embedded profile for : 0xe800801f (Attempted to install a Beta profile without the proper entitlement.)" This error appears and the test installation is not possible..
So I created a new certificate, identifier, and profile. However, it continues to be created with the ID of "ESB392LR64". Keychain registration is also naturally registered with "ESB392LR64" status. Again, my team ID is "HVEMGSUAQ3" and there is no way to check "ESB392LR64" on my dev page...
This situation suddenly appeared when my certificates were updated with the ID of "ESB392LR64" on June 12, and What I suspect is that I updated my MacBook to the latest version of OS on the day of the issue.
Please let me know what's going on. I'm hoping it's not a big deal....
It seems there was a new security feature added to macOS 15 - and now it asks every time after reboot if user wishes to continue and allow access the app to record screen and audio, while capture is blocked. Which renders remote access apps useless, a specially for headless computers like my Mac mini.
I have been trying to access the test flight since yesterday but was not able to access instead it displayed the below message.
"Before you can start testing, a developer has to invite you to test one of their TestFlight apps.To accept an invite, click on the link in the email or enter invitation redeem code" - Attached the scrrenshot
Once I clicked on redeem there is a pop-up displayed that asked me to enter the Test flight invitation code which I did not get. - Attached the screenshot
This is purely to test the Chrome beta version to test the compatibility and not any personal apps.
Can someone help me out to solve this issue?
