How to convert FBX with separate animation files into single USDZ?
I have an FBX model with separate FBX animations files, and would like to convert them to a single USDZ file with the animations included in it (or at least one!). The goal is to be able to use it with Xcode, Reality Composer, and use all animations. What would be a good workflow to achieve this? Asset specs :The object's rig has 35 bones, includes a set of 15 animations (3 being root motion variations), and its files looks like this:Asset.fbx Asset@animation1.fbx Asset@animation2.fbx Asset@animation3.fbx ...The animation fbx files are quite lightweight and use Asset.fbx as a reference. So far, I've only had luck in exporting the main model (using Apple's Reality Converter, or Unity's USD package for the export), but not the animations. When I try to convert the FBX animations to USDZ, the model isn't included. I've no idea how to combine animations and models.Any hints would be welcome!

Transferring a non-Mac App Store app
I want to transfer a Mac app that is not on the Mac App Store from Team A to Team B (transfer from one dev account to another). Can this be done without having to publish the app on the Mac App Store first? as stated in the app transfer eligibility criteria?Reason: I want Team A (new owner) to publish a new version of the app on the Mac App Store, which will automatically upgrade existing non-MAS installs. This is why I need to keep the same App ID, and not use a new one. At the same time, I also want to avoid any disruptions for existing users of the non-MAS app, such as, (potentially) notarisation checks preventing the app from running as it switched dev accounts. Thanks for any help!

Network Extensions regressions introduced in Big Sur dev beta 8
Our app onboarding installs a network extension, and there a two issues: 1) The latest Big Sur Dev beta 8 throws a modal with a new red error sign saying that a system extension has been blocked, while we followed all the steps to install network extensions by the book. It looks like we tried to install malware. Why is this necessary? Didn't the move to user space networking and the sunset of KEXTs also aimed to prevent such error modals? 2) The link in the modal to Open Security Preferences doesn't work: it opens the System preferences but throws a "Preferences Error: There was an error in the Security & Privacy preferences". The user can't even go manually go to that screen to Allow the network extension. The same error is thrown. In our app tech preview phase, about 10-20% of our users faced this issue. We were days away of releasing our app, and our plans are thrown into uncertainty, again. What are the odds of Apple fixing these P1 issues (for us!) in the late beta stage? It is a very poor first time user experience and we don't have control on that part. We filed feedback for other critical issues but many never received any form acknowledgement. Is it worth posting feedback reports for these ones ?

How to filter system-wide traffic with Network Extensions?
NEFilterDataProvider seemed to perfectly meet our needs to monitor and control a Mac's network traffic, in total and by process. But: we found out that traffic from about 50 Apple processes is excluded from being seen and controlled by NEFilterDataProvider, due to an undocumented Apple exclusion list. This is a regression from what was possible with NKEs. We believe it has a high number of drawbacks, and we already know this is negatively affecting our end users. I've covered all of the above in detail in FB8808172, also why other ways to monitor and control traffic are not alternatives we could consider for this scenario. I'd appreciate if someone at Apple could have a look as soon as possible.

Changing Private Relay state drops internet connectivity
I noticed that when I'm running an app with an active Network Extension in macOS Monterey (21A5268h), changing the Private Relay state to on or off disrupts internet connectivity. The WiFi menubar icon eventually turns into an exclamation-mark. The only workaround I found is to turn the filter off or to delete it. If the filter is turned on again, Internet connectivity is lost. I've tested this with a pass-through NEFilterDataProvider-based NetworkExtension filter app, but also see this behavior with other network filtering apps such as TripMode which is on the Mac App Store. Is this a bug? I've filed a report (FB9283392) and attached a sample project to it.

Offer codes for macOS-only apps: where is it?
Apple announced offer codes for macOS apps on June 10 2024 (see press release). However, I don't see "Offer codes" in the relevant App Store Connect subscription prices section, for my macOS-only app. See the attached screenshot. That's the menu where the link is supposed to show up. The offer codes documentation also doesn't make any mention of macOS support. Why? When will it be available, and how do I implement offer codes in my macOS app? Did I miss an announcement elsewhere? Note: I'm not looking to implement Introductory offers or Promotional offers, which are different things that don't meet our needs. .
