QuickStart Mac MINI ADC program
Hi, I received my Mac MINI last week, and after having problems with my Samsung TV, I had to get a new monitor. But I finally started to play with XCode Beta... and WOW, it sure is Beta... I signed up for this program not to Beta test XCode, but to develop apps to help stop the spread of Covid-19 through a maker space in UC Berkeley as an outside advisor, and fascinated with this new Ipad with Lidar support. Of course my burning Question, when are developers going to get seeded with this amazing Ipad... and how do I get on the list for getting one. Anyway, back to the question at hand... the last eposure I had with Swift and Xcode was in 2015 - more then 5 years ago, and I admit I have a lot o catching up to do. This XCode Beta I have that was pre-installed on the Mac MINI must be incomplete.... Can I include screen shots in this forum? I can show you what I found, but to keep it short, in the XCode navigator, there are a lot of files that are missing.... appdelegate.swift scenedelegate.swift Main.storyboard LaunchScreen.storyboard The only thing I have when I start a project using this Beta XCode is ViewController... So it looks like I have to download the latest XCode. has anyone else had this problem... WARNING - I'm a newbee... VietNam era USAF veteran, 77 yrs old, with a longer then normal learning curve, so please don't chastize me for posting things that are a little basic. Thanx, Proud to be on the team... John D
