At times, I saw a Local Network Privacy Alert when opening an app, even when I'm exclusively using cellular data. Additionally, when I reinstall certain apps from the Apple App Store at the same time, some of them immediately request provincial network permissions, others do not which may only use the system network library. Has anyone else faced this issue? It seems like a system issue lead to a unexpected behaviour. After iOS15.4 was released, we noticed the issue. It seems a system bug. It's waiting for the lock for a long time(dead lock). On iOS 17 beta 1 or previous iOS versions, the [LAContext canEvaluatePolicy:error:] method works well without requiring the NSFaceIDUsageDescription key in the plist. However, when iOS 17 beta 2 (21A5268h) released, we notice some crash issues related to TCC_CRASHING_DUE_TO_PRIVACY_VIOLATION. The crash termination reason suggests that an NSFaceIDUsageDescription key must be included in the plist file, providing a string value explaining to the user how the app uses Face ID data. It is important to note that we do not actually require this permission. It is challenging to reproduce this issue, as it occurs sporadically without clear triggering conditions. These problems are likely associated with changes made to the LocalAuthentication or TCC frameworks within Apple's beta system. We noticed an strange issue related to the iOS system. On iOS 15/16, we can reproduce the crash issue using the following steps. Steps to reproduce: click any app(also including the system app) icon, cold launch the app kill the app at once cold launch the app at once( this step may crash with no app crash report generated) We can reproduce the issue using the above steps.  And we also provide the crash screen recording of the App Store app. https://drive.google.com/file/d/16JyEHfMVFU24EAuIefDrjT94RiBBunpI/view?usp=sharing Expect apple can notice the issue and fix it.

We received many crash reports like the below attachment. When the app state switch from background to foreground. As the document https://developer.apple.com/documentation/xcode/addressing-watchdog-terminations suggest, We checked all thread's call stacks and have no idea why the app is force killed. We also make sure that the main thread is not blocked by the log of our app. It may be the issue of apple's watchdog as the main thread is not busy. The app is killed by the watchdog unexpectedly. Does anyone have ideas on how to solve the system issue? Since the release of iOS 16, many users of our app had complained that many WebP images in our App broken suddenly which made the app unusable. We are using google's WebP library to decode WebP data. We create a CGDataProviderRef with WebPDecoderConfig output using MODE_RGB colorspace and feed it to CGImageCreate. On iOS 16 beta version, It just returns nil which is unexpected. Only if we use WebPDecoderConfig with MODE_rgbA, it works correctly and return a valid image ref. However, on iOS systems before iOS 16, it works correctly with the exactly same image. Does apple will fix this issue?

We met some feedback of upgrade installation failed, I also met the same issue. And I can make sure I didn't cancel the upgrade install, but the apple system log shows install failed reason due to the user canceled. canceled by client 1 for reason Error Domain=IXUserPresentableErrorDomain Code=3 "This installation was canceled by the user." UserInfo={NSLocalizedFailureReason=User canceled., NSLocalizedDescription=This installation was canceled by the user.}). By analyzing the system log, I guess when upgrading the in-house app, the iOS system may need to uninstall the old version app, but the uninstall operation may fail due to some unknown reason. And will lead the upgrade install failed(the real install failed reason). I don't know well about the installation of the in-house app. I think the in-house app upgrade install has some bugs.
