Hello. Why was app rejected? What was the rejection message - what policy does it violate? Can you include more information regarding your situation? Thanks

Maybe you are facing the same issue as these guys:
https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/725134
P.S Your Debug API returns "Status OK" for me.
Hope you resolve your issue. Let us know how it went,
Thanks!
The app is made only for your brother? How he will install it - testflight? Why you didn't use the web application? In short, if the app is made only for your brother it won't be accepted on the app store.
Hello,
I'm sorry that this happened to you. Unfortunately, nobody here can tell you or give information regarding why was your account terminated. If you will want to come back into the developer program later, you will need to make sure that you won't make the same mistake and explain the app review board the changes you will make in order this won't happen again.
What was the chronology of the steps you took? Did your app get rejected? Do you think you did something wrong, like purchasing reviews, or impersonating another app (same / similar icon, app name,..). Did you use any third-party libraries in your app, that could steal user data?
I hope you will find the issue and find success on the App Store in the future
Best of luck
will there just be an option for users to subscribe when my app is displayed?
You mean purchase? If you make your app PAID in the App Store Connect then costumers will need to purchase your app via App Store (Apple handles everything here and you don't need to do anything else), however if your app has subscriptions or other purchases that unlocks or enables additional content, then you will need to implement this by yourself in your app via Apple StoreKit. Since you are using React-native, you will need a third party solution to handle the communication between your app and Apple's StoreKit.
would there then be a problem with (part of) the name being same?
No, if the "Car" keyword is a broad keyword and wouldn't cause confusion in branding. The examples you specified are valid and there are tons of apps with such structure in the App Store. However there are exceptions ..and this is where the name is already established brand name.
Examples of most likely allowed:
Car - easy driving
Football - Retro experience
Examples of most likely not allowed.
Spotify - ... (anything after here)
Subway Surfers - ....
FIFA - ....
Just note that in real life you wouldn't ever choose a completely general title like "Football" or "Car", you would do instead "Retro Football" (i don't know if Retro Football is a real app, the name was just made by me, so in case it exists it's already invalid).
They advertise on the keyword “PicSolve” so their app shows first on search results over mine.
Not necessarily intentionally - if they set the advertising to "broad", then the system may show their app for related keywords.
A company pretty much cloned my app, the UI, color scheme
I downloaded both apps and not sure how much "color scheme" or UI is there in this app and how would one make it so different that would look like another app because the nature of the app itself.
It’s a clear attempt at impersonation.
Maybe they tried to look similar to you, but I'd say there isn't any clear policy violation. The icons are different, and the names (title) are also different and it's practically impossible to confuse one with another. In any case I wouldn't go down this route to try and suppress the competition because there is many more to come. I'd focus on how to:
Improve the app (better than the competition)
Finding ways how to market it better
Congratz on your app and best of luck.
Hello sebastien,
Other question: Do you notice very different donwloads stats of your apps from one day to another?
Like the same in the scenario you provided, I personally don't. But I bet there is a pattern going on there of some sort.
Maybe the algorithm is testing your apps
Are affected apps in the same or similar "niche"? Maybe there is a pattern in human behaviour
For example in gaming apps you can see that the activity rises on weekends, some apps are also seasonal (ex. Twinkly). You must find the pattern in your apps (first define common points, breakdown the stats from App Store Connect ,..).
I wouldn't say that this is a result of bad behaviour, specially if you are seeing consistencies on App Store connect analytics and in-app Analytics.
Best
What exactly do you mean by this? What category did you choose for your game in the App Store Connect?
Hello,
If I understand correctly, you are here because you were writing the reviews under the apps you were using and the review didn't show up? If that's the case we can't help you because this is developer forum support.
However, since I'm developing apps for Apple App Store and I'm also a user of apps that other developers make and also leave reviews to them, I'm pretty certain that the developers themselves can't block or delete any reviews that the user leaves under their app. It is possible that the developer can delete ratings but this can only be done when updating the app and all ratings are gone, however last time I checked the reviews (comments) can't be removed.
Maybe it is possible that you are using bad language while reviewing the app and the review system blocks your review. Additionally, the review system sometimes deletes reviews if it determines they are "fraudulent" or generally inappropriate.

I must clarify that my business model is based on a subscription service
I understand. But that doesn't mean you should intentionally design the app in a way it requires an active subscription right from the start, without at least offering something. It hurts the user experience and it hurts you as a publisher in the long run.
However there are definitely cases in which such a business model is acceptable - for example, you already have a product that people bought and in order for it to work long term you require to have an active subscription for it.
In such cases, you should explain to the review team why your app requires to have such a business model and I'm pretty sure they will understand. In any case (if you are not changing anything) you will need to explain why is your business model like this, otherwise you will need to re-design your business model.
There is your issue then. You are advertising the app for free (I assume it's free) on the App Store and upon downloading and opening the app, you are not giving the user an easy option to use the app and forcing them to buy to try the experience (trial doesn't count).
If you want people to purchase right away, why your app isn't paid on the App Store?
Actually it's the same application
If it's the same application that means you are just duplicating content for the app store, which is leading to SPAM. What is your purpose for having two apps with the same functionality on the App Store? Why is one not good enough?
Be aware that manipulating App Store chart rankings, user reviews or search index may result in the loss of your developer program membership. Please address this issue promptly."
Here is the hint.
Check the analytics of all your apps and see if there are any spikes in impressions and conversion rates on your apps. Check your ratings too.
It is most likely that one of your apps was targeted by a botnet.
In any case, something is off and Apple is prompting you to investigate the issue and you should take this seriously.
Best of luck
Generally, Apple doesn't like such apps. You may try to talk to the review team and explain why your app is different than other prank apps and how all parties may benefit from the app, but overall this is a really hard niche to get into. (Pranks). Even Apple mentions this in its own guidelines.
Best of luck
