Subscription Offer Codes - Proceeds are 0.00 with "Pay up front" offer
Hello, I wonder if anyone can direct me to any information about how Subscription Offer Codes work with "Pay up front" offers... I have an active offer code which a number of customers have redeemed and have been charged for, however Sales & Trends in App Store Connect does not report any proceeds for these purchases, and the downloadable subscription report shows they were billed, but the "Developer Proceeds" field shows 0.00 for each subscription with that offer code. To clarify, this is not a free offer code, the "Customer Price" field shows the correct amount charged to customers. Are the proceeds delayed in some way when customer redeem an offer code? I've tried searching the documentation but can find little information. Thanks!

Using AVCaptureSession for video, users complain of "quality" issues.
Hey everyone. One of my apps uses AVCaptureSession to record video with the front facing camera. However, regardless of my approach, users continue to complain about "quality" issues compared to recording videos with the default Camera app on iOS. Example customer comment: The front camera quality is very poor. It distorts the colours and lighting, while when using the original camera app, this doesn't happen. Should I be using a different API or approach for recording videos that are comparable to the default Camera app? Or does the Camera app on iOS simply use custom/private methods to achieve better quality which are not available to developers through an Apple API? If it helps, I've tried using AVCaptureSessionPresetHigh and exposing manual controls for WB and exposure, but of course users rarely touch those and just prefer a nice automatic experience just like the Camera app. Has anybody managed to get comparable results to the Camera app? Thanks!

VPP Only version of an app
My application uses a free with in-app purchase model, however this makes it impossible to purchase using Apple's VPP with Apple Business Manager or Apple School Manager. Is it possible to distribute a non in-app purchase version of the app that is only available for volume purchase for business/eduction, that is not available on the App Store? The options on App Store Connect seem to only allow App Store + Volume purchase either with or without a volume discount. Do I need to use the private distribution option and specify exactly who is eligible to purchase?

Changing an App's Primary Language is broken in New App Store Connect
The new (2020) App Store Connect seems to have a bug which prevents changing the primary language of an app. I am familiar with the process, as I have changed the primary language of apps just prior to the 2020 App Store Connect update. To change the primary language, you must first manually add screenshots for the language that you want to be primary, and they must be approved for the App Store, you can normally then change the primary language for the app in the next update afterwards. While I now have the drop-down menu for the primary language, (in the past this indicates that the screenshot requirements are met) selecting the new language now produces an error: You must first provide all the required screenshots for each version in this language I am 100% certain that all screenshots are provided for the language on all platforms. I have been through this process for other apps shortly before the update. In my case, all required screenshots for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. None of the screenshots are being derived from another localization’s screenshots. However, I notice that the media manager in the new 2020 App Store Connect, doesn't allow you to un-check or disable deriving screenshots for platforms that you're not submitting screenshots for. In my case, my app is not an iMessage app, but the media manager is deriving iMessage screenshots (none) from the old primary language. I guess this is causing the bug, because my (0) iMessage screenshots are still being derived from the old primary language. I have just submitted a new update with dummy iMessage screenshots for each localization, however I suspect it will be rejected because it's not an iMessage app. Has anybody else managed to get around this issue, or is someone from support able to help? I contacted Apple Developer Support with a detailed explanation, but they simply replied with the normal instructions for changing the language, which does not address the actual issue I described.

Is the "Complete My Bundle" option going away? Or just completely broken?
I've had some customers being charged the full price for an App Store bundle, despite having purchased apps that are part of the bundle, with the "Complete My Bundle" option simply not showing for them.Equally, Apple's support page about Complete My Bundle and Complete my Album etc. has now been deleted, it was previously found here just a few months/weeks ago: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201162Is this just abandoned now? Google's cache shows the page was still online in late Jan 2020: https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:4Iaj-TcDtH8J:https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201162+&cd=3&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=ukThe developer page about App Bundles does mention Complete My Bundle, but this is now the only reference to it on the Apple website anywhere: https://developer.apple.com/app-store/app-bundles/Anybody else noticed this?

Scheduled Price Change – When does the price change happen for users?
If I have a scheduled price change fror my app, when exactly does this price change happoen for users around the world?I am changing the pricing model for one of my apps and I want to avoid major confusion for my existing and new users...For example, if I shedule my price change for Jan 20th:Does this price change happen at (roughly) 00:00 on Jan 20th for users at their local time? (So would take 24hrs for everyone to reach the same price)Does the price change at (roughly) 00:00 UTC (for example) on Jan 20th for all users at the same moment, meaning it will be morning for some, afternoon for some and evening for some, depending on their time zone? (Happens at the same instant of time for everyone at once)I read somewhere in an old article that Apple had something like 4 designated time zoned for the App Store, and the price changes at 00:00 in each of those zones.Do we have any official documentation to tell us exactly how this works? I've tried searching the normal places but there's no information.I understand that I can schedule an update version to release at a specific time relative to my time zone, so I would expect this happens at the same moment worldwide for all users regardless of their time of day, but this doesn't look like the case for a scheduled price change. Anybody have any more info? Thanks!
