@FetchRequest predicate is ignored if the context changes
I have a simple SwiftUI application with CoreData and two views. One view displays all "Place" objects. You can create new places and you can show the details for the place. Inside the second view you can add "PlaceItem"s to a place. The problem is that, once a new "PlaceItem" is added to the viewContext, the @NSFetchRequest seems to forget about its additional predicates, which I set in onAppear. Then every place item is shown inside the details view. Once I update the predicate manually (the refresh button), only the items from the selected place are visible again. Any idea how this can be fixed? task_for_pid error 5
I'm trying to use task_for_pid in a project but I keep getting error code 5 signaling some kind of signing error. My Info.plist file includes the SecTaskAccess key with the values "allowed" and "debug." Hoping someone can point me towards what I'm missing here. Thanks!

Symbolicating Crash Reports for Mac Catalyst App
I'm trying to debug a couple of crash reports for a Mac Catalyst app and seem to be unable to symbolicate my crash reports. In the Xcode Organizer, I see unsymbolicated lines for my app, despite having the original archive for the build in question. A search for the relevant dSYM (using the process from https://developer.apple.com/documentation/xcode/adding-identifiable-symbol-names-to-a-crash-report#Locate-a-dSYM-Using-Spotlight) yields no results. Unlike iOS builds, the "Download dSYMs" button isn't present in the organizer, nor is the option to download dSYMs from App Store Connect. I assume this is because macOS apps don't use bitcode. The app's Debug Information Format is set to DWARF with dSYM File. Has anyone else run into this issue? Any ideas about how I can symbolicate the crash logs?

UpdateApplicationContext not working simulator
I am having problems on Xcode13.3.1, Monterey 12.2.1, Apple M1 Max. Sending an UpdateApplicationContext update from a paired iPhone simulator is not received on the paired Apple Watch Simulator in the didRecieveApplicationContext. However, sendMessage from the apple watch simulator does update the iphone simulator app properly. It is however, not possible to send anything from the paired iPhone simulator to the paired Apple Watch Simulator. When working with actual devices everything works properly with WatchConnectivity with passing information back and forth via updateapplicationcontext and sendmessage calls. Can anyone confirm this is a bug or if there is something wrong with my setup?

Thoughts on MusicLibraryRequest as a replacement for MPMediaQuery
I'm very excited about the new MusicLibrary API, but after a couple of days of playing around with it, I have to say that I find the implementation of filtering MusicLibraryRequests a little confusing. MPMediaQuery has a fairly extensive list of predicates that can be applied, including string and persistentID comparisons for artist, album artist genre, and more. It also lets you filter on an item’s title. MusicLibraryRequests let you filter on the item’s ID, or on its MusicKit Artist and Genre relationships. To me, this seems like it adds an extra step.  With an MPMediaQuery, if I wanted to fetch every album by a given artist, I’d apply an MPMediaPropertyPredicate looking at MPMediaItemPropertyAlbumArtist and compare the string. It was also easy to change the MPMediaPredicateComparison to .contains to match more widely. If I wanted to surface albums by “Aesop Rock” or “Aesop Rock & Blockhead,” I could use that. In the MusicLibraryRequest implementation, it looks like I need to perform a MusicLibraryRequest<Artist> first in order to get the Artist objects. There’s no filter for the name property, so if I don’t have their IDs, I’ve got to use filter(text:). From there, I can take the results of that request and apply them to my MusicLibraryRequest<Album> using the filter(matching:memberOf) function.  I could use filter(text:) on the MusicLibraryRequest<Album>, but that filters across multiple properties (title and artistName?) and is less precise than defining the actual property I want to match against. I think my ideal version of the MusicLibraryRequest API would offer something like filter(matching:equalTo:) or filter(matching:contains:) that worked off of KeyPaths rather than relationships. That seems more intuitive to me. I’m not saying we need every property from every filterable MPMediaItemProperty key, but I’d love to be able to do it on title, artistName, and other common metadata. That might look something like: filter(matching: \.title, contains: “Abbey Road”) filter(matching: \.artistName, equalTo: “Between The Buried And Me”) I noticed that filter(text:) is case insensitive, which is awesome, and something I’ve wanted for a long time in MPMediaPropertyPredicate. As a bonus, it would be great if a KeyPath based filter API supported a case sensitivity flag. This is less of a problem when dealing with Apple Music catalog content, but users’ libraries are a harsh environment, and you might have an artist “Between The Buried And Me” and one called “Between the Buried and Me.” It would be great to get albums from both with something like: filter(matching: \.artistName, equalTo: “Between The Buried And Me”, caseSensitive: false)  I've submitted the above as FB10185685. I also submitted another feedback this morning regarding filter(text:) and repeating text as FB10184823. My last wishlist item for this API (for the time being!) is exposing the MPMediaItemPropertyAlbumPersistentID as an available filter attribute. I know, I know… hear me out. If you take a look at the other thread I made today, you’ll see that due to missing metadata in MusicKit, I still have some use cases where I need to be able to reference an MPMediaItem and might need to fetch its containing MPMediaItemCollection to get at other tracks on the album. It would be nice to seamlessly be able to fetch the MPMediaItemCollection or the library Album using a shared identifier, especially when it comes to being able to play the album in MusicKit’s player rather than Media Player’s.  I've submitted that list bit as FB10185789 Thanks for bearing with my walls of text today. BSD Privilege Escalation on macOS
This week I’m handling a DTS incident from a developer who wants to escalate privileges in their app. This is a tricky problem. Over the years I’ve explained aspects of this both here on DevForums and in numerous DTS incidents. Rather than do that again, I figured I’d collect my thoughts into one place and share them here. Some of these were inherited from its ancestor platforms. For example, Mach messages has a capability-based privilege model. Others were introduced by Apple to address specific user scenarios. For example, macOS 10.14 and later have mandatory access control (MAC), as discussed in On File System Permissions. One of the most important privilege models is the one inherited from BSD. This is the classic users and groups model. Many subsystems within macOS, especially those with a BSD heritage, use this model. For example, a packet tracing tool must open a BPF device, /dev/bpf*, and that requires root privileges. Specifically, the process that calls open must have an effective user ID of 0, that is, the root user. That process is said to be running as root, and escalating BSD privileges is the act of getting code to run as root. IMPORTANT Escalating privileges does not bypass all privilege restrictions. For example, MAC applies to all processes, including those running as root. Indeed, running as root can make things harder because TCC will not display UI when a launchd daemon trips over a MAC restriction. Escalating privileges on macOS is not straightforward. There are many different ways to do this, each with its own pros and cons. The best approach depends on your specific circumstances. Note If you find operations where a root privilege restriction doesn’t make sense, feel free to file a bug requesting that it be lifted. This is not without precedent. For example, in macOS 10.2 (yes, back in 2002!) we made it possible to implement ICMP (ping) without root privileges. And in macOS 10.14 we removed the restriction on binding to low-number ports (r. 17427890). Nice! Decide on One-Shot vs Ongoing Privileges To start, decide whether you want one-shot or ongoing privileges. For one-shot privileges, the user authorises the operation, you perform it, and that’s that. For example, if you’re creating an un-installer for your product, one-shot privileges make sense because, once it’s done, your code is no longer present on the user’s system. In contrast, for ongoing privileges the user authorises the installation of a launchd daemon. This code always runs as root and thus can perform privileged operations at any time. Folks often ask for one-shot privileges but really need ongoing privileges. A classic example of this is a custom installer. In many cases installation isn’t a one-shot operation. Rather, the installer includes a software update mechanism that needs ongoing privileges. If that’s the case, there’s no point dealing with one-shot privileges at all. Just get ongoing privileges and treat your initial operation as a special case within that. Keep in mind that you can convert one-shot privileges to ongoing privileges by installing a launchd daemon. Just Because You Can, Doesn’t Mean You Should Ongoing privileges represent an obvious security risk. Your daemon can perform an operation, but how does it know whether it should perform that operation? There are two common ways to authorise operations: Authorise the user Authorise the client To authorise the user, use Authorization Services. For a specific example of this, look at the EvenBetterAuthorizationSample sample code. Note This sample hasn’t been updated in a while (sorry!) and it’s ironic that one of the things it demonstrates, opening a low-number port, no longer requires root privileges. However, the core concepts demonstrated by the sample are still valid. The packet trace example from above is a situation where authorising the user with Authorization Services makes perfect sense. By default you might want your privileged helper tool to allow any user to run a packet trace. However, your code might be running on a Mac in a managed environment, where the site admin wants to restrict this to just admin users, or just a specific group of users. A custom authorisation right gives the site admin the flexibility to configure authorisation exactly as they want. Authorising the client is a relatively new idea. It assumes that some process is using XPC to request that the daemon perform a privileged operation. In that case, the daemon can use XPC facilities to ensure that only certain processes can make such a request. Doing this securely is a challenge. For specific API advice, see this post. WARNING This authorisation is based on the code signature of the process’s main executable. If the process loads plug-ins [1], the daemon can’t tell the difference between a request coming from the main executable and a request coming from a plug-in. [1] I’m talking in-process plug-ins here. Plug-ins that run in their own process, such as those managed by ExtensionKit, aren’t a concern. Choose an Approach There are (at least) seven different ways to run with root privileges on macOS: A setuid-root executable The sudo command AppleScript’s do shell script command, passing true to the administrator privileges parameter The AuthorizationExecuteWithPrivileges routine, deprecated since macOS 10.7 The SMJobSubmit routine targeting the kSMDomainSystemLaunchd domain, deprecated since macOS 10.10 The SMJobBless routine, deprecated since macOS 13 An installer package (.pkg) The SMAppService class, a much-needed enhancement to the Service Management framework introduced in macOS 13 Note There’s one additional approach: The privileged file operation feature in NSWorkspace. I’ve not listed it here because it doesn’t let you run arbitrary code with root privileges. It does, however, have one critical benefit: It’s supported in sandboxed apps. See this post for a bunch of hints and tips. To choose between them: Do not use a setuid-root executable. Ever. It’s that simple! Doing that is creating a security vulnerability looking for an attacker to exploit it. If you’re working interactively on the command line, use sudo. IMPORTANT sudo is not appropriate to use as an API. While it may be possible to make this work under some circumstances, by the time you’re done you’ll have code that’s way more complicated than the alternatives. If you’re building an ad hoc solution to distribute to a limited audience, and you need one-shot privileges, use either AuthorizationExecuteWithPrivileges or AppleScript. While AuthorizationExecuteWithPrivileges still works, it’s been deprecated for many years. Do not use it in a widely distributed product. The AppleScript approach works great from AppleScript, but you can also use it from native code using NSAppleScript. See the code snippet later in this post. If you need one-shot privileges in a widely distributed product, consider using SMJobSubmit. While this is officially deprecated, it’s used by the very popular Sparkle update framework, and thus it’s unlikely to break without warning. If you only need escalated privileges to install your product, consider using an installer package. That’s by far the easiest solution to this problem. Keep in mind that an installer package can install a launchd daemon and thereby gain ongoing privileges. If you need ongoing privileges but don’t want to ship an installer package, use SMAppService. If you need to deploy to older systems, use SMJobBless. For instructions on using SMAppService, see Updating helper executables from earlier versions of macOS. For a comprehensive example of how to use SMJobBless, see the EvenBetterAuthorizationSample sample code. For the simplest possible example, see the SMJobBless sample code. That has a Python script to help you debug your setup. Unfortunately this hasn’t been updated in a while; see this thread for more. Hints and Tips I’m sure I’ll think of more of these as time goes by but, for the moment, let’s start with the big one… Do not run GUI code as root. In some cases you can make this work but it’s not supported. Moreover, it’s not safe. The GUI frameworks are huge, and thus have a huge attack surface. If you run GUI code as root, you are opening yourself up to security vulnerabilities. Appendix: Running an AppleScript from Native Code Below is an example of running a shell script with elevated privileges using NSAppleScript. WARNING This is not meant to be the final word in privilege escalation. Before using this, work through the steps above to see if it’s the right option for you. MusicKit Artwork url
Hi, I'm trying out the beta for music kit. In the current version of my app, my widget can show multiple albums. I preload the images of the album covers. In the beta's the url that is returned for the artwork starts with: "musickit://", which does not work with URLSession. How can I preload the data using the new url scheme? How to modify default APS Environment? (aps-environment)
It looks like APS Environment is configured by setting the aps-environment value in an app entitlements file to either development or production. However, it seems to be the case that, by default, Xcode automatically overrides the set value when an app is signed and the value is instead derived from the provisioning profile. So, for development profiles, you get development (sandbox) aps-environment, and for distribution profiles, you get production aps-environment configured - regardless of how the setting has been configured in the entitlements plist. This is documented here: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/bundleresources/entitlements/aps-environment That document also states that this default behaviour can be overridden: "These default settings can be modified". Question is, how to override these default settings. In other words, how to point aps-environment to production, even if provisioning profile is development. Any insight appreciated, thx.

SwiftUI: Bottom sheet from the iPhone "find my" and "maps" app
I would like to include the bottom sheet from the iPhone "find my" and "maps" app in my app. During my research I came across the new modifier .presentationDetents for sheets. The only problem here is that you can no longer interact with the main screen when the sheet is active. In my app, however, I would like the sheet to be active all the time like in the iPhone apps mentioned and that you can still interact with the main screen like in the iPhone apps with the map. I would be very happy about help. Greetings

Resolving errSecInternalComponent errors during code signing
One code signing issue I commonly see, both here on DevForums and in my Day Job™ with DTS, is that the codesign command fails with errSecInternalComponent. This issue crops up in a wide variety of circumstances and the correct fix depends on the specific problem. This post is my attempt to clarify the potential causes of this error and help folks resolve it. If you have any questions or comments about this, please start a new thread, tagging it with Code Signing so that I see it. Share and Enjoy — Quinn “The Eskimo!” @ Developer Technical Support @ Apple let myEmail = "eskimo" + "1" + "@" + "apple.com" Resolving errSecInternalComponent errors during code signing In some circumstances the codesign command might fail with the error errSecInternalComponent. For example: % codesign -s "Apple Development" "MyTrue" MyTrue: errSecInternalComponent This typically affects folks who are signing code in a nonstandard environment, for example, when logged into a Mac via SSH or when signing code on a continuous integration (CI) server. This post explains how to resolve such issues, starting in the simplest case, signing from Terminal app, and then going on to discuss SSH and other contexts. IMPORTANT Before going further, make sure you understand the difference between a digital identity and a certificate. See TN3161 Inside Code Signing: Certificates for the details. Test from Terminal Code signing makes extensive use of the keychain, and that’s sensitive to the execution context in which it’s running. So, the first step in resolving this problem is to test your code signing from Terminal. To start, log in to the Mac using the GUI. Note If you don’t have access to the GUI, see Working without the GUI, below. Check that Keychain Access shows that your code signing identity’s certificate is trusted. Select the certificate and look for a green checkmark with the text “This certificate is valid”. If you see a red cross with an explanatory text like “… certificate is not trusted”, follow the instructions in Fixing an untrusted code signing certificate. Note macOS 15 moved Keychain Access out of the Utilities folder. The easiest way to find and launch Keychain Access is to use Spotlight. In Terminal, run the security tool to check that your code signing identity is available: % security find-identity -p codesigning Policy: Code Signing Matching identities 1) 4E587951B705280CBB8086325CD134D4CDA04977 "Apple Development: …" 1 identities found Valid identities only 1) 4E587951B705280CBB8086325CD134D4CDA04977 "Apple Development: …" 1 valid identities found If the identity is missing from the Matching identities list, you don’t have a code signing identity to sign with. If you see your code signing identity’s certificate in the keychain, it’s possible that you’re missing its private key. See Certificate Signing Requests Explained for more about that issue. If the identity is shown in the Matching identities list but not in the Valid identities only list, see Fixing an untrusted code signing certificate. This example assumes that you’re testing with an Apple Development signing identity. If you’re using something else, you’ll see a different identity name in this list. Use that identity name in the codesign command below. Still in Terminal, make a copy of the true tool to use for this test: % cp "/usr/bin/true" "MyTrue" Try to sign it: % codesign -s "Apple Development" -f "MyTrue" MyTrue: replacing existing signature The -f flag tells codesign to replace the existing signature. This command may display one or more keychain dialogs but, once you respond to those, it should correctly sign MyTrue. If it doesn’t, skip down to the Terminal failure section at the end of this post. Eliminate keychain alerts When you signed your code in the previous section, you may have seen one of two different types of keychain alerts: Keychain unlock dialog Access control list (ACL) dialog The keychain unlock dialog looks like this: codesign wants to use the … keychain. Please enter the keychain password. Password: [ ] [Cancel] [[OK]] The keychain containing your code signing identity is locked, and you must enter the keychain password to unlock it. You rarely see this dialog when logged in via the GUI because the system automatically unlocks the login keychain when you log in. However, the underlying cause of this alert will become relevant in the next section, when you log in via SSH. The ACL dialog looks like this: codesign wants to sign using key … in your keychain. To allow this, enter the … keychain password. Password: [ ] [Always Allow] [Deny] [[Allow]] The ACL for the your code signing identity’s private key prevents codesign from using the private key without your explicit approval. If you enter your password and click Allow, codesign can use the private key once. If you click Always Allow, the system adds codesign to the private key’s ACL so that it doesn’t have to ask again. To avoid this alert in the future, enter your keychain password and click Always Allow. Now repeat the codesign command from the previous section. It will sign the code without presenting any dialogs. Test over SSH Once you can sign your code in Terminal without seeing any dialogs, it’s time to repeat that process over SSH. To start, log out of the GUI and then log in via SSH. If you’re testing on a CI system, log in to that system by running ssh from Terminal on your Mac. If you want to test on your local Mac, choose one of these options If you have a second Mac, log in to that second Mac using the GUI, launch Terminal, and then run ssh to log in to your main Mac from there. If you have an iPad, use a third-party iPad SSH app to log in to your main Mac over SSH. Use a virtualisation app to run a macOS guest that you can treat like your CI system. Once you’re logged in over SSH, repeat the signing command from the earlier section: % codesign -s "Apple Development" -f "MyTrue" MyTrue: replacing existing signature MyTrue: errSecInternalComponent This fails because: The system locked the keychain when you logged out of the GUI. Logging in via SSH does not unlock the keychain. When codesign tries to use your code signing identity, the system attempts to present the keychain unlock dialog. That fails because you’re logged in via SSH and thus don’t have access to the GUI. The system returns the errSecInternalComponent error to codesign, which reports it to you. To fix this, unlock your keychain using the security tool: % security unlock-keychain password to unlock default: KEYCHAIN_PASSWORD % codesign -s "Apple Development" -f "MyTrue" MyTrue: replacing existing signature IMPORTANT This assumes that your code signing identity is in your login keychain. If it’s in some other keychain, read the security man page to learn how to unlock a specific keychain. Best practice is to store both parts of your code signing identity (the certificate and the private key) in the same keychain. If you split the identity across two keychains, unlock the keychain that contains the private key. Test your CI job Once you have everything working on your CI system over SSH, try running exactly the same commands in your CI job. If your CI system manages user contexts correctly, those commands should just work. If they don’t, discuss this with your CI vendor. Note macOS has a complex execution context model. For background on this, see the Execution Contexts section of Technote 2083 Daemons and Agents. Some CI systems don’t correctly establish a user context when running jobs. For example, they might switch the traditional Unix execution context — the EUID, RUID, and so on — but not the security context. This mixed execution context causes problems for the keychain, which relies on the security context. Avoid doing code signing work as root. Some folks run everything as root because they think it’ll avoid problems. When working with the keychain the opposite is true: Running as root often causes more problems than it solves. These problems are most likely to show up when you use sudo, which creates a mixed execution context. Working without the GUI The instructions above assume you have access to the GUI so that you can test and resolve issues using GUI tools like Keychain Access. However, many CI systems don’t give you access to the GUI; at best you might have interactive access using SSH. Note If you CI system allows remote access using a screen sharing protocol, use that rather than messing around with the instructions here. If you don’t have access to the GUI of the machine on which you’re signing code, there are three issues to deal with: Avoiding the keychain unlock dialog Avoiding the ACL dialog Investigating an untrusted code signing certificate issue To unlock the keychain, use the unlock-keychain subcommand of the security tool, discussed in the Test over SSH section earlier. When logged in with the GUI, you can respond to ACL dialog by clicking Always Allow. This prevents that dialog showing up again. However, if you don’t have GUI access there’s no way to click that button. To get around this, import your signing identity and set its ACL to allow codesign to use it without extra authorisation. To do this, first unlock the keychain: % security unlock-keychain password to unlock default: KEYCHAIN_PASSWORD Then use the security tool to import the PKCS#12 file: % security import IDENTITY.p12 -T /usr/bin/codesign -P P12_PASSWORD 1 identity imported. Note the -T option, which adds codesign to the private key’s ACL. Finally, modify the partition list to allow access by Apple code: % security set-key-partition-list -S "apple:" -l "Apple Development: …" This example assumes you’re using an Apple Development signing identity to test with. If you’re using something else, replace Apple Development: … with that identity name. Finally, investigating an untrusted code signing certificate issue remotely is quite challenging. Your best option here is to set up a local test environment, run your investigation in that environment, and then apply the results to your CI environment. There are two good choices for your local test environment: Use a virtualisation app to create a ‘clean’ macOS guest, one that’s never seen your code signing setup before. Use System Settings > Users & Groups to create a new local user account and do your testing there. The first option is best because you can easily restore your VM to a clean state between tests. When running through the process described in Fixing an untrusted code signing certificate, you might end up performing two different remedial actions: Importing an intermediate Reseting trust settings. Once you understand these remediations, you need to apply them to your CI system. The first one is easy: To import an intermediate, run security with the import subcommand: % security import INTERMEDIATE.cer 1 certificate imported. Resetting trust settings is more of a challenge. It’s probably possible to do this with the security tool but, honestly, if you think that your CI system has messed up trust settings it’s easiest to throw it away and start again from scratch. Terminal failure The bulk of this post assumes that the process described in the Test from Terminal section works. If it doesn’t, something weird is happening and you should apply the following diagnostic suggestions. The first is to create a new local user account on your Mac — using System Settings > Users & Groups — and then retry there. The goal of this test is to isolate: A problem that affects your Mac as a whole From a problem that’s tied to your user account If the problem is with your user account, switch back to your original account and run: % security dump-trust-settings SecTrustSettingsCopyCertificates: No Trust Settings were found. In most cases this should report that no trust settings were found. If it report trust setting overrides, remove them. Simulator in Low Data Mode
Hi, I have logged into an iCloud account on an iOS device simulator on my Mac to sync photos in order to test my app. The photos app is telling me syncing is paused as the device is in low power mode, but as this is a simulator, there's no network seatings to change this and I can't find out why it's in this mode or how to get it out. I've done exactly the same thing for years with no issues, but for some reason it's happening now. Has anyone else experienced the same? The simulator device is an iPhone 13 Pro Max running 15.5 however I've tested on other device and experienced the same issue. Many thanks, Dan

anyone getting the following error with CloudKit+CoreData on iOS16 RC? delete/resintall app, delete user CloudKit data and reset of environment don't fix. ShareLink + FileRepresentation: Can't Save to Files
I'm having trouble getting the "Save to Files" option to work with ShareLink. Simulator won't sync with CloudKit since Xcode 14
I have a few apps that use Core Data & CloudKit to sync data to multiple devices. Everything was fine until I updated to Xcode 14. Now, although the apps work on an actual device, in the simulator, I get errors about "Failed to sync user keys" and it won't sync anything. I haven't changed the code at all. It just suddenly won't work in the simulator. EditMode Example not working
I tried the example from https://developer.apple.com/documentation/swiftui/editmode. EditButton() } } } } It shows the texts "false" and "test", before and after clicking Edit. What am I missing? I'm using XCode 14.0.1 and the deployment target is iOS 16. I also tried on a real iPhone and on iOS 15.5 in the Simulator. Thanks for any help.

Subscription "Waiting for review" status stuck after been approved
We uploaded to App Store Connect a new app version with new subscription groups & items. Everything was approved, and we received the emails from App Store connect, but if we visit our App Store Connect account App, some of these subscription items are still "Waiting for review" for more than 4 days. It has no sense as the email informed us that the new app version and all the items had been approved. The app is online, but some subscription items are not available. We even uploaded a new app version, it was updated, but the subscription items are still "Waiting for review". Has anyone faced this problem? How do you solved it? We have contacted App Store Connect but it is pretty difficult to get real assistance, most of the time they reply with template email answers.

Is it possible to get only audio from ScreenCaptureKit?
I'm creating app that listening other app's sound. in this use case, screen data is not needed. but if I don't call SCStream#addStreamOutput(_, type: .screen, ...), console shows this error: [ERROR] _SCStream_RemoteVideoQueueOperationHandlerWithError:701 stream output NOT found. Dropping frame currently I'm setting SCStreamConfiguration#minimumFrameInterval to large value (e.g. 0.1fps) as workaround, but it would be good if i can completely disable screen capture for best performance. there is any way to disable screen capture and only captures apps audio?
