Can't generate promo code

I have been receiving this error message since April 5:


Can't Generate Promo Code

We're having trouble generating the codes. Please contact App Store Developer Support for assistance.


I have plenty of promo codes remaining.


Also, when I click through to the contact page, I get a useless series of menus that let me specify my problem and no place to actually send a message. It just has two buttons ("Start over" and "Done").


UPDATE: After six (6) days of downtime, this appears to be fixed.

Yep seems to be working for me and have finally managed to get a promo code to the magazine, but it was embarrasing having to explain the delay as took nearly a week to fix. Also found it very frustrating not getting any useful feedback from Apple EU Dev Support, I found out more from the forum. There should have been a warning message on iTunes Connect... a lot of developers including myself wasted a lot of time trying to generate codes and hack the system to get it to work thinking it was a client rather than a server issue. I realise Apple rely on developer bug reports to highlight & fix issues, but we are also customers and pay a big chunk of our sales revenue for this service, so we should really be kept better informed.

I am still getting this issue. No codes show in history either.

Same here. App Store Connect says: "Promo Codes can only be generated for approved versions." My current version is approved.

I can generate codes, but they are not redeeming ("Code redemption is temporarily unavailable. Try again later")
