We are getting a lot time out on verifyReceipt api

Hi,
We are developers from china, we are getting 10~20 time more timeout since 2020.6.18 12:00(UTC 2020.6.18 04:00:00) with verifyReceipt API (https://buy.itunes.apple.com/verifyReceipt) . We have 90 times timeout(6sec timeout) everyday before 6.18 which grows to 1440 times per day after 6.18. We have tried every possible network optimization to lower the time out ratio, but all come in vain, we have no sollution but to reach to you, is there any adjustment of this api service on 6.18 ?

You should increase your time out interval to ensure a response from verifyRecipt

We have seen the same issue. We have increased our timeout to 60s but we are still experiencing time out. We do retry and seems to succeed then

It has happen more and more for us since May. Monitoring the running average request processing time and implementing your own timeout and retry based on that value gives good result (since retrying the request works in most cases). It's unfortunate that we have to put this in place. The Apple's API will have to get more reliable as this is quite a critical one, resulting in lost revenue.
