Please treat me as a beginner of Unity. Now I want to learn to develop visionOS VR App through unity. I try to find a relatively complete route and start learning, but Unity's official website does not have much explanation for visionOS VR App, so I hope you can give me a comparison. The whole route, thank you!

Apple Developer videos once downloaded don't have the option to display captions. Is that as designed? Is there a way get the captions with the dowloaded content? Thanks

I hope this message finds you well. I recently had the opportunity to watch the insightful session titled "Improve Core ML Integration with Async Prediction" and was thoroughly impressed by the depth of information and the practical demonstration provided. The session offered valuable insights that I believe would greatly benefit my ongoing projects and my understanding of Core ML integration. As I am keen on implementing the demonstrated workflows and techniques within my own work, I am reaching out to kindly request access to the source code and any related material presented during the session. Having access to the code would enable me to better understand the concepts discussed and apply them more effectively in real-world scenarios. I believe that being able to review and experiment with the actual code would significantly enhance my learning experience and the implementation efficiency of my projects. It would also serve as a valuable resource for referencing best practices in Core ML integration and async prediction techniques. Thank you very much for considering my request. I greatly appreciate the effort that went into creating such an informative session and am looking forward to potentially exploring the material in greater depth. Best regards, Fabio G.

I want to create a function which will return the rssi value of currently connected WiFi network on my iPhone. I tried fetching the value from status bar but I guess that support is no longer provided in Swift. I have tried the following solution and other solutions with similar approach but it doesn't seem to work now. private func wifiStrength() -> Int? { let app = UIApplication.shared var rssi: Int? guard let statusBar = app.value(forKey: "statusBar") as? UIView, let foregroundView = statusBar.value(forKey: "foregroundView") as? UIView else { return rssi } for view in foregroundView.subviews { if let statusBarDataNetworkItemView = NSClassFromString("UIStatusBarDataNetworkItemView"), view .isKind(of: statusBarDataNetworkItemView) { if let val = view.value(forKey: "wifiStrengthRaw") as? Int { //print("rssi: \(val)") rssi = val break } } } return rssi }

Xcode Server is say goodbye at Xcode15 Beta. Hello Apple: As iOS developers and users of Xcode Server, we hope that Apple can retain the functionality of Xcode Server or provide an API for Xcode Server, open source the code, so that Xcode Server can continue to operate and provide better services for iOS developers. Additionally, Apple's recommendation of Xcode Cloud has raised some concerns among us. We are very grateful to Apple for creating this excellent tool that helps us automate building, testing, and deploying iOS applications, improving our development efficiency and quality. However, we are disappointed with the removal of Xcode Server from the latest Xcode 15 version. At the same time, we also have some doubts about Apple's proposed Xcode Cloud. Firstly, we hope that Apple can recognize that Xcode Server is an essential tool for iOS developers. Many development teams rely on Xcode Server for continuous integration and delivery, enabling them to quickly build, test, and deploy new versions of the application. If Xcode Server is removed, developers will need to spend more time and effort on these tasks, greatly reducing development efficiency and quality. Secondly, although Apple has proposed Xcode Cloud, we believe that it has some problems. Xcode Cloud is cloud-deployed, which presents limitations on private networks and data security, and lacks the ResetAPI of Xcode Server, making it difficult to integrate with other systems. Also, Xcode Cloud requires payment, which may be a considerable expense for individual developers and small teams. Therefore, we hope that Apple can reconsider and retain the functionality of Xcode Server or provide an API for Xcode Server, open source the code, so that Xcode Server can continue to operate and provide better services for iOS developers. At the same time, we also hope that Apple can continue to improve Xcode Cloud and address its problems to provide better cloud services for iOS developers. Thanks

Sadly, I was not able to register for the Games Q&A at. WWDC. My question is as follows: For making a Universal Binary, one compatible with Big Sur and up, will the tools in Xcode 15 help me port over a Win32 project over, or does the tool only work assuming macOS Sonoma and up, exclusively on Apple Silicon?

Hi all! I was hoping that in WWDC23 sessions, there would be an announcement on a new API for ultra wide-band and AirTags, in order to have access on developing apps with interaction between iPhones and AirTags using the UWB technology. But, I cannot see anything related to this topic. Do you think there will be any good news this year ?

While using Vision Pro, there could be a situation where the battery pack is yanked from the device by a door handle or just a wave of the arm, what happens in those situations, does the Vision Pro just turn off instantly or is there some sort of back up. I am curious, because when building productivity apps like Word, whether data would be lost. If there is a backup, is there a notification that developers can use to react and save current state and other data?
