If artwork with a real screenshot is allowed
(as it seems from some websites creating this kind of screenshots on behalf of the developer),
is it mandatory that the screenshot strictly corresponds to the device?
I mean, let's say that I upload an artwork with a nice rotated screenshot inside for the iPad Pro 3rd gen App Store requirement,
but the screenshot is from a iPad 8th gen device (depicting the same identical user interface and functionalities),
will it be rejected?

My account is working with Apple developer websites like App Store connect and so on.
I can click the + button to add my account (enabled automatic sign-in management, click on "Team") and the dialog appears but then the server error is issued
"There was an error connecting to the AppleID server"
It is the same from Xcode preferences > Accounts
So it is the strange connection error that many developers seem to face.
@robnotyou
I do not see any forum editing tool to remove the question (even if the first one is more general).
Are you looking for an app to test?
Hello, are you looking for an app to test?
Hello, are you looking for an app to test?
Hello, are you looking for an iOS app to test?
@eskimo
Thank you so much for your answer.
1- I have to say that the ID would not be really like
com.myappdomain.app.lite
but more like
com.myappdomain.app.reader
so it is as the "lite" project is a child of the main one.
The child app is not just the lite version but it has a nuance of meaning to it, and I consider it like derived from the main project.
What do you think?
(However I'd prefer com.myappdomain.applite to your com.myappdomain.app-lite, also because of the motivation above)
2- What happens when the two apps are installed at the same time and the file with registered extension is chosen on the system?
Do they appear both in a list for the user to select one? Or is it unpredictable?
Thanks in advance

Sorry for the misunderstanding, I just was saying that the iOS simulator WKWebView is not displaying the HTML as it was on a real device.
Also, in fact, I am interested in having the rendering results of the WKWebView itself on those real iOS devices, inside a OSX or iOS app on a certain device, in reduced scale to give an idea of what is the real outcome.
@robnotyou
Thanks
Maybe I am wrong, but I experienced that the WKWebView is not working the same way on the various simulator iOS devices, at least in the default mode, that is without meta tags injection, so you seem to be sure that with the appropriate meta tag injection it works well on each simulated model.
The meta tag injection is necessary also on real devices, so the default WKWebView is tricking,if you do not know that. Default rendering is different from, let's say, the Android WebView.
I did not know that and I had to add the injection code during the review process for the submission to the AppStore. It was just matter of creating a new build in fact.
But I think that the WKWebView on the simulator could have also further differences and quirkness depending on the particular simulated device.
However the simulator is secondary problem here.
I think that the answer to my question is
"Yes it is possible to have a scaled representation of the real HTML rendering on a physical iOS device (in a sort of frame corresponding to the device itself) in a MacOS or iOS app because the WKWebView is able to do so with suitable meta tags",
provided I have a list of the suitable values for those settings.
Am I wrong?
But I further wonder whether those values are easily calculated, or they are already known because they are available in resources like tables of values, ready-made tools, and so on, if they really exist for every device.
EDIT: The user can create new content but there are some limitations, i.e. how many items can be created or something similar.
Or
a check could be done for those app installations made before a certain date to have full functionality, and only new installations are limited.
Thank you for the response.
I have to say that the app is paid but price is set at 0, so no one got the app by paying indeed.
Does your answer apply also to this case?
I have no problems in granting full functionality to them, if feasible, but it is also important to understand if it is mandatory (or very common, or expected) when the app was in fact purchased with no money.
I would like to have this information too, if possible.
Thanks in advance
