Great question, also I cannot see any option to import flat images into the Composer, is it missing yet, or I just can't find it?

you won't be able to publish app made with xcode beta on the app store anyway.
Just went through the process - and got this info when I was trying to submit the app for Review via App Store Connect.
I'd love to know more about this too!
