15.5 beta 3 does not recognize Apple Pencil. (iPad Pro 12.9 M1)
Apple Pencil is connected but iPad does bot respond Pencil action.
“Forget Apple Pencil”, iPad cannot detect Pencil.

I had the same problem on 15.5 (non-beta) upgraded to 15.6 and it is still not working, same behavior (apple pencil pop up but not pairing)

Add a CommentSame issue here. Pencil does not function after I attach it to the iPad pro, only when it is also attached to the magic keyboard.
Disconnect the iPad from the keyboard, pencil works again. If I then reconnect to the keyboard, the pencil works until I reattach it magnetically to the iPad. 15.5b4
