IPadOS 14.2 Bug

I don’t know if anyone is experiencing a bit laggy when using the Magic Keyboard’s trackpad. I tried scrolling it on Safari, Twitter, and Facebook. Sometimes, a bit second, it stops and can’t scroll then it will work again. I notice that the bar bottom of the iPad (don’t know what it’s called) can’t click when the tracker or pointer is in that place. I can’t get out of the current app that you are using. I need to use 3-finger gesture/swipe just to go to home screen. Plus the pointer got bigger even the slider is set to the smallest.

Yes same here. Touch to click not working, two/ three fingers gesture sometimes not working.

You can go to assistive touch menu —> turn off perform touch gesture to make the cursor back to original size.
Same issue on IOS 14.4 !!!!!!
Still not fixed in 14.4 ipadOS
problem is still there on iPadOS 14.4... please fix this problem
Same issue here. It was working fine until I had to reset my iPad because I forgot the password. Previously I was able to adjust the amount of time it took for the cursor to disappear, the increase contrast button actually changed stuff and the pointer animations actually worked, instead the pointer will just glide to the middle of the button and awkwardly sit there without actually ‘blending’ into the button etc.
The cursor also used to sorta “flow” into the home button but now it just gets ‘sticky’ over it if that makes sense.

Does anyone have any solutions?
I have good news all!

The issue still exists on iOS/iPad OS 14.5 (open beta) :D
Dave5400’s workaround saved my day - just turn off assistive touch, so many conflicts. Alone with assistive touch turn on but Perform Touch Gesture off does not help all the cases, sometimes single tap to click will break. Have to turn the assistive touch off entirely. Of course bad news for people who does need assistive touch. Sigh.
I didn’t have this problem but i have a smart filo keyboard bug.
I have the same problems too. I have also noticed that the cursor animations aren’t what they were used to be before. When i’m trying to copy or highlight a text, the pointer remains circular ; it used to transform into a “stick” which makes selection easier and more accurate. Also when I point the cursor to an app or to an icon, it doesn’t automatically “blend in”. The circular shape remains the same.
I don’t know if these features disappeared with the new ios or simply a bug, either way please fix it Apple. Thank you.
