I don’t know if anyone is experiencing a bit laggy when using the Magic Keyboard’s trackpad. I tried scrolling it on Safari, Twitter, and Facebook. Sometimes, a bit second, it stops and can’t scroll then it will work again. I notice that the bar bottom of the iPad (don’t know what it’s called) can’t click when the tracker or pointer is in that place. I can’t get out of the current app that you are using. I need to use 3-finger gesture/swipe just to go to home screen. Plus the pointer got bigger even the slider is set to the smallest.

Yes same here. Touch to click not working, two/ three fingers gesture sometimes not working.

You can go to assistive touch menu —> turn off perform touch gesture to make the cursor back to original size.

Same here from Thailand, If it can not fix this mistake asap, Pls let us back to 13.7!!!!

we bought magic keyboard for what if we can't used it!!!!
I will return this magic keyboard if it can't fix it soon.

I am experiencing similar issues with my magic keyboard too. Even the pointer Animations don't work. The cursor doesn't snap to any of the menus and apps like it used to, please fix apple thanks!

Exact same thing is happening to me. Turning off AssistiveTouch did help with the lag but now the custom settings for my mouse don’t work.
Hopefully Apple fixes this in iPadOS 14.3.

I literally have never been so disappointed with such an upgrade. I have a brand new IPad Pro 2020 just updated to 14.2. Before this it was doing perfectly fine but the upgrade has given me bugs, crashes on multiple apps including MS Excel, Google sheet, YouTube or even just in Setting. I desperately hope these issues got fixed immediately by the new upgrade. My iPad is literally worthless now facing crashes and bugs every 15 seconds. I can only fix it by saying “Hey Siri” then it can work for another minute before getting bugs again.

Anyone facing the same issues and get any suggesting solutions?

I’m literally confused.

At a loss for words..

How can a a trillion dollar company,

that has some of the highest paid developers,

get their keyboard issues,

incessantly wrong..

from the hardware keyboard, to any keyboard (OEM, and bluetooth) disconnecting — still not fixed since 14.0..

My smart folio keyboard keeps cutting out. It’s 14.2 still not fixed... but with more problems for people who spent MORE money.

What are these developers doing?

Sounds bad, but I’d fire this team.

I mean, 3 months of being unable to use a keyboard, now this?

Fix this issue ASAP.

One of the most expensive products and its’ useless without a keyboard.

I avoided the air’s with the faulty keyboard only to end up in another trash can.

Do something. Fire that team if you have to. wow.

I encounter the same exact bad experience...it is really annoying because i spent a lot on my ipad pro 2020 and magic keyboard :(

Same problem here. Magic keyboard’s trackpad is almost not working with the lag. My iPad even starts heating at the position of the processor, and soon it can get extremely hot. Turning off Assistive Touch helps a lot.

Same problem with magic keyboard here. I don’t understand how a $1300 product (iPad Pro 2020 and magic keyboard) can have to many bugs with an update. Please don’t disappoint us. We really like your products but this kind of glitches are very disappointing for a trillion dollar company

Getting rid of “assistive touch” seems to’ve fixed the problem.
But, Apple’s got to do better. -_-

I have the same issue here... mous pointer lag and trackpad is sometimes not responding... i just bought this keyboard couple days ago and i saw the new update was available for mine iPad Pro so i decided to install it and bam I’m stuck with a 399 dollar keyboard that i cant use now... very frustrating ... hope apple fix this very quickly !!!! I have had the same problem. Was able to fix it by turning assistive touch on and off. Now everything works fine

It just doesn’t make sense as to why this is a feature if you cant use it properly. Hope this can be fixed as soon as possible. I most of the time use my ipad without the keyboard and i rely on assistive touch a lot. That’s why turning it on and off manually every time i connect and disconnect the magic keyboard is so hassle.

Apple support agents doesn’t even know what’s happening and advised me to go to the store to have the keyboard replaced or refunded. Like, bruh, you know i’m trying not to go outside because of covid. Luckily i found this forum 😒

Does anyone know if the bug with Assistive Touch on custom mouse clicks is fixed or not? I have upgraded to the latest iPad OS, it seems to have the same problem with tracking and mouse. I now turned it off .. but with the mouse can only use limited features for smooth scrolling and clicks...

Its just a joke... I thought, iPadOS 14.3 wolud fix most of the bugs that made 14.2 absolutely horrible... but tbh they made it worse. Why am I spending so much money for a product that does not work properly after updates that are supposed to make it BETTER and not worse? Persormance is all over the place. My iPad keeps crashing or sometimes freezes randomly, working with the Magic Keyboard is a total nightmare, same issues as u guys mentioned before. I just bought this thing 3 months ago. Anyone got an idea what to do (bc Apple clearly doesnt)?
