I’m using an iPhone 11 Pro Max. Does iOS 14 use more memory and higher CPU usage?
iOS 14 Beta Using More Memory
ABSOLUTELY!!! I have a 256gb 11 Pro Max and now show 161gb of OTHER in storage. As soon as I go to look at RECIEW LARGER ATTACHMENTS, it crashes to the home screen.
I’ve opened feedback ticket FB7752370 on this issue. Apparently more than 10 others have also.
if this keeps up I will have to downgrade back to iOS 13 for now.

I also have this same issue, running iPhone X 64GB - I had 26GB free space before installing iOS 14 beta1/2, it left me with 2.16GB available. Not sure what the issue is, but its a big one!
yes. I am using iPhone XR 128 GB and upon upgrading to IOS14 public beta 2 I’ve 20GB of other data sitting on my phone. That’s bad. If someone is listening please fix this.
Having the same issue with my iPhone 11. Currently 37 GB of Other. When I tried removing something else to make room the Other expanded to fill the space. Considering reverting till the issue is resolved.
I had 30 gbs available yesterday and today I only have 2 left
Yes I’m currently seeing the same issue on my iPhone 8 Plus on iOS 14. It went from 46gb of storage to 24gb left. How is that possible?
Got same issue, I have iPhone 11 Pro, and from 35 gb went down to only 10 gb, I checked where it says “others” and it almost has 20 gb usage.
Same here. I have XR 64 GB and 8GB is being used by System and 26.8GB is under "Other". I hope they fix it in their next release.
Same issue here, iPhone XR, used to have 30 gb free but after iOS 14 I now have 3 gb free. I checked "others" and it has 29.7 gb usage.
Same issue here, I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max with the new iOS 14 Beta 3 and had only 29 GB used out of 64 GB, and after the new update came out, I've now "used" 52GB out of 64 GB in the "others" section! What the heck? Do I have to delete and go back to iOS 13 to get my storage back?
I'am facing the same issue in Xcode 12 beta. When i run the app in iOS 14 simulator the cache keeps on increasing till there is no storage left on the mac and the Mac freezes
