M1 MacBook Pro and Air
I don’t think it’s me, but the touch sensor to unlock your Mac just doesn’t work. I’m aware when you boot your Mac up you need the type your password. But after that you should be able to auto fill with touch ID etc. This was the case with two new Mac book pros and now my Mac book air. There are no real fixes for this. And apple support seems to think there is no issue. So now I’m stuck with a Mac with no Touch ID. I thought it may be software but it’s not. I will mention this the Touch ID only works for maybe one day, after that it just doesn’t work. I’ve gone round and round with support and they have no clue. And now it doesn’t work with Monterey.
