Can I submit an app built with Xcode 11 on macOS Big Sur beta to App Store Connect?

Hi everyone!

I’m working on an app that is relatively close to being ready for launch, and I am just wondering if I finish the app on the macOS Big Sur beta, will I be able to submit it to App Store for approval? Or do I have to stay on macOS Catalina? Thanks :)

If you compile the app on Xcode 11 on Big Sur it should be fine. If you were to compile the app in Xcode 12 on Big Sur it won't work.

Be aware that devs are obligated to use only -release- version tools, not betas, when submitting apps for the App Store, so the answer to your question is no.

Suggest you avoid betas and stay on Catalina release for now.

Does XCode 11.7 run on Big Sur? I want to update, but I still manage a project that runs on 11.7.
