Junos Pulse broken in MacOS Sierra

Looks like MacOS Sierra broke Junos Pulse (VPN client). I launch a connection and it wipes out my save connections. Does not connect. I tried to add a new connection and it's not able to connect to the service. Anyone seeing this?

This is very helpful! I was experiencing the same issue.


The dangling 

dsAccessService
process can be found and killed by doing the following...
  • open a terminal and enter the command 
    ps aux | grep dsAccessService
  • find the specific 
    dsAccessService
    with the attribute 
    Ss
    for the application 
    /Applications/Pulse Secure.app/Contents/Plugins/JUNS/dsAccessService
    (Others will have the attribute 
    S
    or 
    S+
    , you're not interested in the process with 
    -host HostCheckerService
    )
  • kill the process by using the kill command on the PID (process ID) of the service with the attribute 
    Ss
    by running 
    sudo kill -9 [PID]
    . Replace 
    [PID]
    with your process ID.

Now, you should be able to browse the internet after disconnecting from pulse.


Hopefully they will address this issue in a future update

5.0.3 didnt seem to get past some security check in my case even though the mideye otp key is sent out for entering into the screen.

this version - 5.2.5r5 that krishnithya helpfully posted later in this thread, after several people said it worked but didnt hint at where to find it, works fine.
