Junos Pulse broken in MacOS Sierra

Looks like MacOS Sierra broke Junos Pulse (VPN client). I launch a connection and it wipes out my save connections. Does not connect. I tried to add a new connection and it's not able to connect to the service. Anyone seeing this?

I see this in the pulse log:

I can confirm that ps-pulse-5.2r4.1-b787 is still broken in Sierra beta 7, but that ps-pulse-mac-5.0r15.1-b61501 works.

Glad that I can connect again, I will try to find out if a beta version of Pulse Secure is available. At least it's not in the download portal for Pulse Secure customers.

Opened a TAC with Pulse Secure on this. They acknowledge even the latest PulseSecure version to be broken and working on a new version. TAC have been pretty responsive so far. We're aiming for Day 1 company roll out so will report back our findings.

Update from Pulse Secure: the issue is internally known with the id PRS-302225 and a fix is planned in version 8.2R5, expected to be released mid September.

The earlier beta test has been halted because of some unexpected issues.

The Pulse Secure 8.2R5 client is available and according to the release notes is supported on Sierra, with one limitation:

The “Traffic Enforcement” feature of the Pulse Secure Desktop Client does not function on macOS 10.12. (The “Traffic Enforcement” feature can be used to block “raw socket” traffic that might bypass the VPN tunnel.) This feature works on versions of macOS prior to 10.12.

Do you know where can I find 8.2R5? I do not have a Pulse support account. Thanks in advance.

as absurd, OLD JUNOS pulse 5.0.7 works!

😟

Do you by any chance have link to where I could find this version? Would be nice to have a working VPN until the company I work for can provide an update to 5.2R5.

Yes a link with the updated client would be very handy. Someone has to have a link.

The new client doesn't appear to be working either. I still get the following error:

System Error

Please sign in and try again. If the problem continues, please contact your system administrator.

I have the same problem as well... Juno pulse client wipes out saved connection and fails to connect ! The error message is : Failed to connect to pulse secure service

V5.2.5r869 works..

where can i find the installation file?

I confirm v5.0.3 works with Sierra, you can obtain the software from https://www.net.usf.edu/vpn/MacOS/JunosPulse.dmg

The correct answer of course is to get your IT department to install it on their gateway, but we all know that a lot of IT departments are slower than the technology. As such, people like us need alternatives.

Hopefully this won't violate the rules: http://bit.ly/2d32ZCV

Upgrading to v5.2.5r869 fixed the issue for me.
