How do I change the images/screenshots that are used for my app on the play store?

My *** just got approved and I am trying to change the images that are displayed when someone searches for the app does anybody know how to do that?

If you're talking about App Store and Mac App Store screenshots, those cannot be changed after the app is approved. The only way to change them is to submit a new version or to reject the current version before it becomes available for sale.

I'm curious how you accomplished that. Did you have to send them pictures? With or without clothes? Inquiring minds want to know. 😁

Anyway, no idea about the Play store, but for Apple's app stores, as Bob said, you need to submit a new version in order to change screenshots.

The 'new version' can be just your old version (only change the version number). Write in the App Review notes the fact that you are just changing the screenshots. You will still have to wait in the queue but the review should go through without an issue, unless you include your approved *** in the screenshot.

According to the iTunes Connect Developer Guide, screenshots are one of the 'locked' meta data assets, until the next update.

How you change them is to push another build, upload new assets and submit for review. When that build is approved and released to the store, the new images will replace the old. Done. Good luck with your ***.

PSA: Since late 2021, Apple has allowed us to update App Store screenshots and video previews without submitting a new build. See it step-by-step here: https://www.roger.ml/p/app-store-screenshots

I use AppScreen Studio to create ones. No more pain to find proper sizes for your app screen sizes.
