Unable to upload any builds to app store?

Hi,

I've been unable to upload a build for the last several hours. Xcode spins for a while on "Fetching list of teams from the Developer Portal..." and then reports "The request timed out".

This is not a new app or a new account; I've uploaded about 70 previous builds.

Same here, this has been a recurring issue when there's a new version of Xcode

Its happening here also. Any luck so far ?

I have the same problem. It'll be fine over time...?

Same here..

I had that several hours ago. I kept trying. And I was eventually able to submit a binary to their server. So keep trying.

I have no idea why Apple is screwing around nowadays.

Of course I am also not able to fetch the teams list.

Last time (maybe a week ago) that worked but there was this user role bug where you had to be admin to upload a binary...

This is creazy.

Still timing out for me this morning.

I'm guessing it has something to do with the number of Apple IDs set up in Account Preferences. I'm a contract developer, so at any given time I'm working on multiple projects and I often have 10 or more Apple IDs set up to support different customers. I have noticed in the past that Xcode appears to process every one of these IDs during app submission, even though only one of them is associated with the project being uploaded. Perhaps if they modified Xcode to only worry about the ID being used for the specific project, things would go more smoothly.

Same hear...

And also I have multiple Apple ID registering Xcode... 😠

One more suffering this and also with multiple accounts registered and Xcode 7.2

I only have three accounts, and am having issues. It's inconsistent... Last night I couldn't upload, I tried a number of times, restarted. It happened to work after I clicked "view details" on the account, as that was recommended on stackoverflow. It worked immediately.

Today, no matter what I do, it won't upload for me. I'm guessing it really has to do with overloaded Apple servers...

Another thing I'm noticing is that if I open the Accounts view, about half of my Apple IDs are in a "The request timed out" state with a "Sign In Again" button. I tried signing all of them in again, but that doesn't help.

This is rapidly becoming more than an annoyance as I have a customer waiting on a test build.

Is it still possible to upload a build outside of Xcode?

I guess it doesn't matter -- I can't export an App Store build either. It fails with the same timeout error.

Oh thank goodness we found this forum post. My boss is about ready to fire me from my job thinking(he said knowing) I am incompetent. Apple fix your stuff or at least notify everyone that changes are upon us. It's almost christmas and I may have to let my family know I have lost my job. Thanks Apple

I try this ans it work this morning "I clicked "view details" on the account, as that was recommended on stackoverflow. It worked immediately."

OK Everyone - Christmas is saved. I still have my job. Here is what worked for us (Murphy's law it won't work for you).

1. Be sure you only have the accounts needed for this particular submit (I have a lot of accounts so we deleted all of them except the 2 needed for submission)

-2 accounts because one is my developer account and the other one is for my itunes connect submission that does not have a developer account tied to it

2. Be sure your developer account has Admin role from the developer portal and the itunes connect account has at least technical role

3. Now try and submit - it should fetch the teams now.

Thanks

PS - Apple *** did you do yesterday - iOS 9.2/xcode 7.2/el capitan updates - back end services to match it? The services url https://developerservices2.apple.com/ was responding with Too many requests. #iStillLoveYou
