HI,
for my needs I have to install Sequoia on an external disk.
From the first beta, I was able to install it without problems and I was also very happy because everything works perfectly and I could verify my apps with XCode.
Unfortunately, a few days the external disk decided to abandon me and after purchasing a new one I tried installing Sequoia on the external disk again but this time I started from beta 2.
The problem is that I can't install it.
It tells me that there are 28 minutes left but after a few minutes the disc is ejected and even if I try to start with the power button, it doesn't start...
I'm exhausted....I don't understand what I'm doing wrong....
I also tried to download the Beta 1 version but unfortunately without success, in fact I must say that it's even worse because it tells me that there is no space on the external disk and I don't know what to do.
Do you have any ideas?
Today I believe BETA 3 will be released and I will try to install that version but I am skeptical that I will be able to install.
I add the screenshot and the error log
Installer Log 8-Jul-2024.txt

Hi everyone,
I have a Macbook Air M1 and the Mac runs fine.
For work needs, I need to use the new Sonoma operating system on an external drive.
Now here are the problems.
The operating system is installed correctly so I don't think that could be the problem.
It happens that if I attach the external disk to the Belkin HUB, the new operating system starts without problems, if instead I try to attach the SSD to the Macbook Air USB ports, the operating system does not start, so I am forced to use Sonoma only with the hub attached.
I thought it could reset the PRAM or the SMC but from the Apple forum, it seems that Macbooks with M1 processors, have neither PRAM nor SMC.
Is there anything I can do ?
Thank you all,
Vincent
Hi everyone,
I recently updated XCode from version 15.2 to version 15.3 and I also updated IOS from version 17.2 to version 17.4
I thought there were no problems but instead, trying to run my usual project, I get the error message on the screen.
I also tried to enable Rosetta, but unfortunately it doesn't work.
What am I doing wrong ?
Hi everyone,
I'm building a native application that needs to support accessibility, so it needs to be used with VoiceOver.
I followed Apple's guidelines to the letter and I noticed that in order to test accessibility, I can use the "Accessibility Inspector" application.
Everything seems to work, I just don't understand how it is possible to change the language of the "Accessibility Inspector" program, I should set it to Italian, because unfortunately it reads everything in English and I have to experiment with Italian.
There's a way ?
Thank you,
Vincent
Hello everybody,
I have a Macbook Air M1, where I have installed Mac Os X Ventura on an external drive.
Until yesterday morning when I had the beta 2 everything worked correctly, never had a problem, so much so that I wanted to install it inside the main disk. Unfortunately, however, after upgrading to Beta 3, I started experiencing several problems.
In particular, the problems I am experiencing are on the Wallpaper section and in the Display section of the System Setting, as well as a slow start-up of the operating system, which I had never had in the previous version.
Also I noticed that the Wallpaper must be downloaded and I don't understand why, also because if I try to download it doesn't start.
I am attaching a screen of the problem encountered.
Is there anything I can do ?
Thank you all,
Vincenzo
Hello everybody,
after the addition to Mac Os Ventura Beta 6, I am experiencing several problems, with the Belkin hub that I had not encountered until the Beta 4 version of Mac OS Ventura.
If I connect the iPhone to the hub via the USB port, the Mac goes into Kernel Panic and restarts, if I try to connect an Android phone instead (I'm a Flutter developer), the Mac has a lot of difficulty starting up.
I do not understand if the problem could be due to the hub that cannot manage the energy absorption correctly and therefore crashes.
What do you think ?
Thank you,
Vincenzo
Hello everybody,
I should add a library to my project created with CocoaPods.
Unfortunately this library is not defined anywhere it is a file named like this:
library.framework
Is there any way to add this library within the Pods project?
Thanks,
Vincenzo
