I have an app that relies on CloudKit notifications for a core feature, but for about a week now the app is not receiving any CloudKit notifications. This follows a week in which I received "status 500" errors from CloudKit and my app was rendered useless. Those errors mysteriously stopped happening, but my app is still hindered by the lack of CloudKit notifications. I have not gotten any response from Apple on this, despite several attempts through various channels. It's not tenable to build apps that users rely on based on a platform that is so unreliable, and for which support is essentially nonexistent. To any CloudKit developers reading this: Please follow up with me so that I can resolve these issues for my users.

Since a couple days ago, CloudKit database queries in my app and on the CloudKit dashboard fail with the error "request failed with http status code 500". Nothing significant changed in the app recently, and it has otherwise worked well most of the time for more than a year, although CloudKit seems to have outages somewhat frequently. My app is mostly unusable without access to the CloudKit database, so this is a critical issue. I have also filed a Feedback report (FB13709321) on this issue.

I'm trying to implement passkeys in my multiplatform (iOS/macOS) app, and it works on iOS, but on macOS I get the following errors: ASAuthorizationController credential request failed with error: Error Domain=com.apple.AuthenticationServices.AuthorizationError Code=1004 "(null)" Passkey authorization failed. Error: The operation couldn’t be completed. Application with identifier <identifier omitted> is not associated with domain <domain omitted> The associated domain is correctly configured, since it works on iOS. Adding ?mode=developer also doesn't resolve the problem.

I have an iOS and native macOS app that is configured to receive remote (background) notifications. I've verified that the background notifications are being received on iOS. I'm sending the notifications from my server, and my app also receives CloudKit notifications on iOS. But neither of these is received on macOS. I've found two recent discussions that indicate that other users are experiencing this problem: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/74868553/apple-push-notifications-arriving-on-macos-but-not-in-the-application-itself https://github.com/raivo-otp/macos-receiver/issues/15

I'm working on making my iOS app compatible with macOS, and I think I've managed to resolve all the errors, except that when I build my project for macOS, I get the following errors: Undefined symbols: Linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation) The project builds without problems on iOS. How can I get more insight into the source of the error? In case it's relevant: I am using this WebRTC package, which should be compatible with macOS.

I'm running this SwiftUI sample app for photos without any modifications except for adding my developer profile, which is necessary to build it. When I tap on the thumbnail to see the photo library (after granting access to my photo library), I see that some of the thumbnails are stuck in a loading state, and when I tap on thumbnails, I only see a low-resolution image (the thumbnail), not the full-resolution image that should load. In the console I can see this error that occurs when tapping on a thumbnail to see the full-resolution image: CachedImageManager requestImage error: The operation couldn’t be completed. (PHPhotosErrorDomain error 3164.) When I make a few modifications necessary to run the app as a native macOS app, all the thumbnails load immediately, and clicking on them reveals the full-resolution images.

I'm using App Attest and the endpoint mentioned here to receive receipts with a fraud metric from Apple on my server. However, I've so far been unable to decode the receipts sent by Apple's server. Can anyone point to an implementation in JavaScript/TypeScript? In general, it's been very difficult to implement App Attest on the server due to the lack of reference implementations provided by Apple.

My app uses a significant amount of space in a private CloudKit database, and I need to be able to show users how much free space they have. Is there any way to get this value programmatically?

I've been having connection issues with WebRTC in my app since updating my devices to iOS 17. The issues are inconsistent, but generally the video connection cuts out after a couple seconds, seemingly because of network issues. I saw that there was a mention of WebRTC in the security content of iOS 17, and I've seen some reports on Reddit about users of smart home devices with cameras having connection issues after updating to iOS 17. Is anyone else experiencing similar issues? This is the WebRTC package I'm using: https://github.com/stasel/WebRTC

I'm trying to verify attestations from Apple devices on my server, and I'm finding it difficult to implement some of the steps outlined here. This is the current state of my implementation. I'm stuck on the step where the credCert extension is decoded and compared with the nonce. I'd be grateful for any help anyone can provide.
