I solved this problem by creating a new project and copying the files from the failing project to the new one. The app from the new project was accepted by the App Store.

I have more details about the error I'm getting. Using the transporter app, I get the following error message:
ERROR ITMS-90161: "Invalid Provisioning Profile. The provisioning profile included in the bundle com.PeteTheGolfer.Annual [Payload/Bills & Periodicals.app] is invalid. [Missing code-signing certificate]. A Distribution Provisioning profile should be used when submitting apps to the App Store. For more information, visit the iOS Developer Portal."
I checked in the profile editor, and it says that I have a valid signing certificate.
I'm really stuck and would appreciate any clues as to where to look next.
Thanks Brigitte.
I'm guessing that this is the line that causing the warning:
Text(pastDue, format: .currency(code: "USD"))
Nobody is using my app on a Mac, so I guess it's not a problem.
In my app profile, under Deployment Info, Mac is unchecked. I couldn't find anything in AppStore connect.
Anyway, MacOS 12 is out, so it should work now.
How do I indicate that my app will run on MacOS i1 and above?
When I search for Bills, I get a lot of bill tracking apps plus things like billiards, billetes, billionaire. I think Bills & Periodicals should be more relevant.
I thought I was on Apple's support. Where should I ask? Feedback is just for reporting bugs, right?
