Now getting a different error message:
"Microsoft Outlook got an error: Application isn’t running."
Which is not true...
Seems it might be an iCloud issue.
All my devices (iPad on 14.3; iPhone on 14.3, iPad mini on 14.2, Mac on 11.0.1) are showing different sets of out-of-date pages when I try to handoff in Safari. The 14.2 shows 21 pages more than currently open on my Mac (some going back several days). iPhone (14.3) shows three more than actually open but not the current ones. iPad (14.3) shows fewer pages than actually open on my Mac.
Copy/paste between devices works Mac to iPhone and Mac to iPad mini but not Mac to iPad.
Nothing in the release notes about this.
Feedback error report submitted.
Thanks to Google (no thanks to Apple documentation) I found a solution.
I needed to create an icon set and then add it to my project. But, using the add files option in Xcode is not sufficient; I had to manually add the name of my icons (without the .iconset suffix) to the icon file entry in my info-plist.
Apple documentation is wrong on two counts: says icns files should not be used (but it won't work without them) and, elsewhere, says just add the .png icon files and Xcode will take care of everything (which it does not).
Several hours wasted thanks to poor documentation!
Yes, have all those icons...
Sign out of iCloud and sign in That was one of the many things I tried but it did not work...
Did, however, find a solution: I had originally updated using the smaller download option; I went via CMD-R and reinstalled beta 6 the long way and the problem has gone...
I get the same, sometimes!
Anyone have thoughts/ideas on this?
