I have 10.15 installed on a test computer, a Mac Mini and when I boot up, three (3) bsdtar process start up and take up 80% or more of the CPU. I have killed the processes and that eliminates the high CPU usage, but a reboot brings the bsdtar processes back.Has anyone else experenced this and a possible solution? Thanks for any support.Jeff

Looking for some assistance in building a new HDD from scratch for Big Sur. Can someone point me to simple instructions for how to create containers, etc for both Big Sur OS and separate data, just like it comes from Apple?
Do I remember correctly that the default factory HDD comes with two (2) volumes, one for OS, the other for data?
Or, does the installer take care of it as long as I have a partition?
Thanks for any support!
Can someone point me to best practices on how to load a large public database upon 1st execution?
I will have a relatively large catalog database that I want to allow off line use, so I figure downloading the entire database and syncing changes is the best approach.
Thanks for the support,
Jeff
