16.4 Beta Updates and Apple ID Question

According to the notes for 16.4 and forward, "Your iPhone or iPad must be signed in with the same Apple ID you used to enroll in the Apple Developer Program in order to see this option in Settings." What about those who use a separate developer Apple ID? Can one add the developer ID to the "Family" section and still get the betas or add the UUID to the Developers Devices Section on the website?

I'm wondering this too. What does “signed in” mean in this context? Will developers be able to add their dev account somewhere to be able to receive betas? I'm a small developer and don't have spare devices lying around for testing, and I don't mix my personal iCloud account with Family Sharing with my developer account.
