cant get rid of a version in app connect (testflight)

Hi,

i accidentally created a wrong version number 108.0.0 (instead of 1.0.8) via CD pipeline and now cant get rid of that version which would be forever at the top of my list in app connect, which is a nightmare to handle.

Has anybody an idea how to change or delete it? Changing the version id seems not possible anymore at this "expired" stage which the build is in. I wouldnt mind deleting the whole build 169 with this weird version id.

Any help appreciated. German apple support wasnt of any help.

There is at least a brute force solution, but it may not be suitable for you.

Iif you are ready to change the name of the app and obsolete the previous name:

declare a new app, with new name (may be pretty close to the previous one)
Version could start as 1.1.4 if needed
submit to review, explaining very clearly what you did and why (avoid rejection for spam)
once accepted, you will remove the first app from sale.

Of course, that supposes you have not too many users who will be bothered by the change (and the possible loss of data in the first app).
