Introductory offer not working on production, but works on sandbox?

I set up new introductory offers of subscriptions on Monday, it works on my test devices, but not on any production device.

I'm sure the dates are set correctly (at least based on app store connect's web site). I have filed a report to Apple Developer support and no reply yet.

It's been 4 days since the introductory prices are set and supposed to take effect. I've done this many many times in the past, this is the first time that this happens.

Has Apple changed how introductory offers work?

can you provide more details such as your product duration and price, and the introductory offer you configured?

ensure your app is verifying the Apple ID subscribing is eligible for the introductory offer too, else you may be merchandising to ineligible subscribers. An Apple ID can redeem one introductory offer per subscription group.

  • Here's a new update. I have three subscriptions and I added intro offers to two of them on Monday. About 10 minutes ago, I can finally see the offer price taking effect on production devices. So it just takes really really long time for introductory prices to take effect on production devices, for my app at least!

    About 36 hours ago, I added an introductory price to my third subscription just for the purpose of testing, and it still hasn't taken effect now. I'll keep you posted on how long it finally takes effect.

    Here's the case number for my previous contact with Apple: 101708089810. I'd be glad to provide any further information and help with testing or anything, as I think this is quite important for a lot of developers.
