Hi team, I'm unable to generate promo codes for my app which has been approved, but is not released. After clicking "Generate codes" I get a modal that says:
Can't Generate Promo Codes
Is anyone else seeing this?
If the app has not been released, then the Promo Codes can not be used, so it doesn't make sense to generate them.
Promo Codes are a way of providing free copies of a paid app.
They are not used for a preview version of the app, before it is released.
For that, you would use TestFlight.

Ah, I also had previously successfully generated codes. I’ve made Apple aware.
Same for me, it's been a couple of days now... and Facebook is requesting codes to do their regular validation checks, the clock is ticking!
Apple is looking into it. Made them aware of that thread.
Ah, I’m also sending promo codes to Facebook for their app review. I wonder if there’s a link.

Facebook is not involved.
I've been in contact with Apple. They let me know it was now fixed, and it is indeed working for me again. Thanks everybody for the commentary.
