Apple's spam policy

Hiya

We provide club membership management software, and as part of this we have an app available that clubs give to their members - it's pretty generically branded.

Some of the clubs want an app that is specific to their club - which we have no problem building, but we've had the first one rejected by Apple because it's similar/the same functionality as our main member app, due to the spam policy.

Is it that Apple want the club to have their own developer account in order to do this, or would that cause problems with the spam policy? There are many other apps doing something similar, so I'm not sure why it's being flagged. The policy argument is that it's only the content that has changed, but it's actually an app for a different business. I can't get any answers through the resolution centre, they just keep copying and pasting the policy wording to me!

Thanks

Do your apps have the same icon ?

Did you consider inApp purchase, as recommended in guidelines ?

4.3 Spam

Don’t create multiple Bundle IDs of the same app. If your app has different versions for specific locations, sports teams, universities, etc., consider submitting a single app and provide the variations using in-app purchase. Also avoid piling on to a category that is already saturated; the App Store has enough fart, burp, flashlight, fortune telling, dating, drinking games, and Kama Sutra apps, etc. already. We will reject these apps unless they provide a unique, high-quality experience. Spamming the store may lead to your removal from the Apple Developer Program.

I have the same problem. Please @Claude31 help me. Voici mon mail billybroni@gmail.
