Hello,

My app got rejected with this reason:

Your app includes a contest or sweepstakes but it does not:

  • Enforce an app age rating of 17+

The sweeptake is only active when a users pushes a button to partitipace and gets notified if the users has won an E-Ticket to an event of festival. We don't see this as simulated gambling and are suprised we need a 17+ app rating due to this issue.

Does this fall under the rule in our app case? And if not how would i fight this false claim?

The guidelines aren't conditional.

File an appeal using your conditional interpretation if you disagree, just keep in mind that app review isn't here.
