Ipad OS 14.2 update *Battery and charging problem*

After updating my iPad to iPad os 14.2 beta firstly it’s starts charging after 4-5 minutes after plugging in the charger and secondly the battery faster than normal..
My battery was perfect and just got 14.2 and my battery life drops 3% a minute just using Twitter or safari. Insane. Got a new battery on this 6s less than a year ago. And now this 14.2 OS has killed the battery life

I also have a battery problem on my iPad Pro 3rd gen since the last update but in my case it just drains really fast.
Same issue here with my iPad pro 3rd gen on 14.3 beta 3.. cant use the USB-C port at all.. cannot charge
Having similar charging issues with my Ipad Pro 11 inches on 14.2 (18B92). I'm suddenly not able to charge the iPad. Tried with different cables, outlets & computers. No physical damages nor contact with liquids. I left it plugged overnight, and for some reason I can't explain, the charging history says it started charging around 3 AM. It now has full battery, but still doesn't charge when plugged in.
I am having identical problems on iPad Pro 11” on 14.2 ...

With just a few percent remaining, the charging symbol will light temporarily (one or two seconds) when I plug in the cable, then disappears, often with the message “not charging”. That is, it recognises the USB cable has been inserted, but then decides it’s not going to charge using it. also get message about needing to unlock to allow usb accessories, even though it is unlocked.

the only solution I’ve seen so far is to let it run to zero charge, and it powers itself off, and the charger will then work overnight (up to 100%). However, the battery is running down to zero on a daily basis.

consequently, this feels like a software bug as it behaves differently when there is no op system to reject the charging.
