We designed a 3 tier coin subscription on our app. This allows users to spend their coins as they wish on the app. Included with each subscription we ship a kit of goods/products that are affiliated to courses on our app.
Since our kit is something we ship directly to the user and is not consumable from the app we thought users could use another method of purchase to buy our coin subscription that was not apple's API.
Our app was rejected. Where did we do wrong?
Based on Guideline 3.1.3(e) we thought this would be allowed.
Goods and Services Outside of the App: If your app enables people to purchase physical goods or services that will be consumed outside of the app, you must use purchase methods other than in-app purchase to collect those payments, such as Apple Pay or traditional credit card entry.
Any clarification is appreciated.
