Admin role in App Store Connect not working

My organization gave me admin access to App Store Connect so that I could handle some configuration updates. However, while my user shows an "admin" role, I don't seem to actually have admin access. I don't see the button to create a new app, and I can't change the permissions of other users.

I can see other apps that I was unable to see before, however. It just seems that I don't have the full set of permissions that I would expect being an admin user.

I am having exactly the same problem, a colleague gave me 'admin' access in the attempt to give me the permission to add new users, however it seems like my permissions have not changed even though my role is now 'admin' under my user.

I also have the exact same problem. I got admin access but I'm not able to submit builds for review or add external test groups to testflight.

Hi there - seems it's not possible to upgrade permissions/role e.g. to make somebody with Reports access an App Manager or Admin. Would like a fix or some details on workaround for this please.

Hi, after about 20 emails with Apple support they (hopefully) solved this issue once and for all.

Both my accounts are now with admin role just how was supposed to be about 10 days ago.
Anyone ever recieve any help here? I'm having the same issue.

I'm having the same issue.

My account with the account holder role can make a new user with developer role but I can't add "Create Apps". I get the error "An error has occurred. Try again later."
This for 3 days now.

Any suggestions?

I am an admin and the Apps page just never finishes loading

same problem... I'm an admin in the team I select, and whenever I upload my archive to the apple notary service I get rejected for the reason "you haven't been given access to cloud-managed distribution certificates"

We had the same issue. Check if your organisation/account holder has given you admin access on developer.apple.com. Looks like APPSTORE CONNECT and Apple DEVELOPER ACCOUNT are 2 different items and you need to have access on both.

Worked for us. Give it a shot!
