iOS 14 Beta 3 Bluetooth issue

Hello.

Bluetooth has some serious issue, my iPhone and iPad cannot connect to my AirPods Pro, Powerbeats Pro and Beats Studio 2. Did forget all my earphones from all my devices, a network reset as well but the issue is still there.

they connect well on my Apple Watch and Mac with big sur.

It’s going to be a long wait until Apple fixes this issue.
Watch 7.0.2 did not fix this issue for me. I’m still having major slow down when connecting my AirPods Pro crashing of Spotify and no sound coming out of them instead the music plays on my phone.
I am having same issue after upgrading my iPhone 11 to iOS 14.0.1. My AirPod pro won’t connect properly and phone freezes.
Same here. AirPods 2 work perfectly with my MacBook on Big Sur 11 Beta, but glitch unbearably on my iPhone Xs, iOS 14.0.1.
Spotify and YouTube just hangs, or no sound, while iPhone shows AirPods as connected. Upgrading to iOS 14 was def a mistake.
Same here. I had the 8+ and I have airpods gen 2. This problem started after the update. I reset my phone multiple times, disconnected my airpods, reset them multiple times, and nothing worked. thought maybe it was the phone so I purchased the 11 today and still nothing. Huge inconvenience that Apple needs to fix!
I have the iPhone 7 running on iOS 13 and the Bluetooth accessories work perfectly on my iPhone. I decided to update my iPhone to iOS 14.0.1 today and after the update, the Bluetooth doesn’t show my Bluetooth devices that I want to connect to on the list. This is my biggest mistake. I’m regretting now 😢.
It happened to me too as I updated to ios 14 on my XS Max. I cannot connected to my Airpod pro but I can connected to my Airpod 2. Then I tried to switch off my Apple Watch and I can connect to my Airpod pro. Weird but it works.
If you forget AirPods on you IPad, for some strange reason, it will also forget them on your IPhone. If you then pair them on your IPhone it will automatically pair them on your IPad. Apple, please do a focus group before you deploy a major OS rollout. The mistakes you’ve made during this pandemic when everyone is using your devices for work, really hurts. I went back to using my wired earbuds. Much more reliable.

Not really looking forward to the next rollout.
Like another user in the chat, I turned off my watch and the problem seems to be gone.

I am using powerbeats pro and are no longer having issues with Hulu or Netflix.
For me doing the opposite fixed it, so worth it for anyone that can't get it to work. Settings ->Accessibility->Sound recognition and turn it to on not off. Others have said doing the opposite worked from them so try both.
I just bought air pods pro and can only make them work when I turn my watch off. Bizzare
I have the iPhone 11 max pro and I was so disappointed when the 14.10 update came out. My AirPods would connect to my phone but wouldn’t work. I initially thought it was pandora and Apple Music but after seeing the suggestions on here, I disconnected my Apple Watch and the air POD’s work!!!
THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH FOR THE ADVICE!
Ok so since last month (when I thought WatchOs 7.0.2 fixed the issue) I upgraded to the 12 pro, installed 7.1 on the watch and 14.2 on the new iPhone and I'm back to square 1....AirPods 2 are working, no issues but, to get the AirPods Pro to work, I have to switch my watch to airplane mode then connect my AirPods Pro. I can then switch back the watch to normal and the AirPods Pro would continue to work. But if I put them back on their case, I'll have to switch again the watch to airplane....and so on....Very frustrating Apple, not an enjoyable user experience I would say :-(
Similar issue here with 14.3. AirPods Pro connect to phone and iPad but only 1 pod plays at a time. Or the pods play for a few moments and then it’s just static. Please fix!
Hi all,

I've got an iPhone 12 on iOS 14.2, Apple Watch Series 3 on Watch OS 7.1

Got some new Airpod Pros today and couldn't initally connect to my iPhone but they were working fine with my 2015 MBP.

Turning off bluetooth on Apple watch prior to connecting the airpods to iPhone seems to work but this is quite an inconvenience so hoping it gets addressed soon.
Thank you all for the help. I couldn’t for the life of me figure out what I was or was not doing to get my AirPods to work. I had an iPhone 8+ and just thought it was the phone then upgraded to the 11 pro max and still nothing!!!! They would pair and show connected but could not connect to pandora or anything else. Turning off Bluetooth on watch then changing airplay in app to AirPods is the only thing working so far!!! Thank you all and Apple PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!! Happy holidays!
