In-App purchase: Submit for Review disabled! Please help!

I'm out of ideas what to do, app is already in "Pending for Release" state, so I can release it any moment.

Stucked on In-App ;( All in-app in status "Ready to Submit". When I go to In-App Purchases section and press any in-app purchase i have my button "Submit for Review" disabled and gray colored, so I can't press it. And I got strange warning message on top: Your first In-App Purchase must be submitted with a new app version. Select it from the app’s In-App Purchases section and click Submit

I don't realy understand what It's all means I read all guidelines, have no idea, it's already second build been reviewed (first one was with a bug). Apple support do not answer. What to do ???

This year's holiday shutdown was due to end yesterday - maybe some parts of the backend are slow to come back online?

I believe it means just what it says: if this is the first in-app purchase ever for that app, then it must be associated with a new app version. If you did not associate the in-app purchase product (submit it for review at the same time) with the app binary they've already reviewed, you're out of luck - you will have to create a new version, associate the in-app purchase product(s) with that version, and submit the whole works for review again.

Once an app version that includes in-app purchases has been approved, then you can submit new IAP products separately. But the first time, they must be submitted with an app binary.

If you did add the IAP to the app binary that's been reviewed, then ignore all the above 🙂 It's also quite possible something is screwed up on their end, in which case waiting for them to respond to your support request (and/or trying a different channel such as phone support) is the way to go.

Current reviewed version of app already have in-apps and in-app permission in X-code capabilities also in developer profile. That is the problem.

Phone support is myth i guess

if you are writing that an earlier approved version of your app had approved IAPs then the button should not be grey. If you are writing that this current version that just got approved has other IAPs that were just approved and you now want to add more IAPs then perhaps you need to move this just approved app a bit forward in the queue to benefit from having approved IAPs. But if you are writing that this currently approved app can handle these first new IAPs but you forgot to attach them before submitting it then you lose and must resubmit a new binary with these IAPs attached.

PBK, quite hard to understand 😉 my steps was like:

1. Added store listing info.

2. Added build 1.0

3. Added 6 in-apps (w/o screenshot).

4. Submited version 1.0

5. Had no care about in-app screenshots because in version 1.0 was a bug.

6. Submited version 1.1 (fixed bug) with Release upon request.

7. Sumbited in-app screenshots.

8. Got status "Ready to Submit" for IAP. Button "Sumbit for Review" is gray.

9. My app got approved and in status "Pending Developer Release"

10. Still unable to post in-apps. Button "Sumbit for Review" is still gray.

What im should do know ? Delete inapps and resubmit anything ? How properly ? I waste already months for that...Apple review team takes about 15 days each time...And this holidays, im broken... No information on stackoverflow too ... Apple team do not answer.

At step 8 above you should have attached the IAP to the app and submitted them all for approval. But you did not. Instead you submitted your app for approval without attaching any IAPs. Therefore to submit the IAPs you must also submit a new version of the app. When you do that be sure to attach the IAP to it before tapping 'submit for review'. I don't specifically remember how to 'attach the IAPs' to a new version of the app. But it will be obvious as long as 1) the screenshots are submitted for the IAP and 2) the app is 'ready to submit' but NOT yet submitted.

The solution to this is to edit the app store localisation slightly, to make the submit button show up.

I simply added a space at the end of the name, saved, then removed the space again, then saved. This allowed me to re submit all my products.

Hope it helps.
