I have got my app preview in the correct format and file type, and will upload as an m4v or mp4; but when i hit save it says error wrong format; any suggestions?

Just to share. I had the similar problem. Although the resolution is correct, I needed to set the aspect-ratio to 'square pixels, 1.0'.
I encountered the error message: 'Your file is in the wrong format.'
I fixed it by renaming the file from 'video.MOV' to 'video.mov'
I think you're saying that when you change the file extension of a recorded video from uppercase ".MP4" to lowercase ".mp4", it works. Is that correct? This seems like an issue with how the file system handles file extensions.
