Do promo codes give access to features forever?

If I give a promo code to a reviewer, will they have access to the paid version or the IAP forever?


In other words, if I release un update, will the reviewer still have the ability to download the paid app or restore the IAP indefinately?

Anyone using a redeem/promo code owns the app in perpetuity, same as if they bought it.


I seem to recall, tho, that the one thing they can't do is to review that app in the store, so be sure that's not an expectational risk to your plans...
