Latest version updates for apps removed from sale

If an iOS app is removed from sale, will users of that app on older versions of the app be able to update to the latest version after it is removed from sale?


Example: I am on v2.3. The latest version of the app is v2.7. I have not updated. The app is removed from sale.

Will I be able to update to v2.7 after the app is removed from sale?

Users with previous versions of the app can’t update the app, but they can still download the latest available version or restore the app to a new device, as long as you have an active contract.
