I have not been able to get an iCloud backup in iOS 9 beta 4. It runs for awhile, and then comes back "the last backup could not be completed".

I've deleted iCould backup from the iPhone as well as from iCould storage. Nothing is showing in iCloud backup.

I have ~196GB of space in iCloud showing available. There is 23.7MB in iCould Photo Library which look like some previous older photos.

On the iPhone I have about 13GB of photos and 29GB of music as well as 2GB messages.

Any help is appreciated so I can get this iCloud backup function working.

I had earlier problems backing up to iTunes, but that is now working. I'm not

sure if there is anything similar on the iCloud side of things.

I have the exact same problem Every now and than my iPhone tells me backups are more than 5 weeks old but hoe the **** should i make them?

same case here with ios 9 public beta 3.

for my ios 9 public beta 1 and 2, the progress bar did not even move at all.

back up to itunes is fine.

Update - 8/18/15 - iCloud backup started working. Not sure what changed. Maybe they fixed something on the server side. Seems to be completing the backup ok now.

Interesting to see the info in iTunes for the backup dates........... did they even have iTunes in 1910?

I am having this same issue on my iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2.

Last backup was 7/9/15 when I installed the beta.

I tried deleting the backups via iCloud settings on my Mac, and in my iPhone iCloud settings but I keep getting the "Last backup could not be completed." message.

I want to install the GM iOS 9 but not until I can complete this backup.

I did a backup via iTunes so at least I have a copy of it but I'm still reluctant to upgrade to the GM iOS 9 until I can do an iCloud backup.

ipad since iOS 9 public beta 1

iphone since iOS 9 beta 3 ( first beta installed)

try try many time to remove iCloud account , backup, Ecc.

photo removed, film, removed, no usage on the device.

backup won't icloud won't work.

I'm still having this issue myself, and now my computer backups are failing too. 0 byte backup on iCloud, can't delete, last backup date in iTunes of 1910, failed backups to computer. Previous to today's iTunes release I was able to backup to my computer provided I renamed/deleated my backup folder. It has been months of this, would really love some assistance. I should add I'm on iOS 9.1 PB.
