Screenshots and Color Space

Previously, I have had screenshots and Display P3 color space embedded, and they looked fine on device.

I recently, switched to Photoshop and exported them in Display P3 and they look washed out on AppStore on device.

Is there something I am missing here?

What is the common practice here?

In the past, photoshop has shown a lack of savvy when used to generate iOS targeted image assets. I'd suggest to add an additional post-editing step that involves macOS's Preview involving a save that includes file format atttributes as spelled out in the docs:

"Use the PNG format for images.

The PNG format provides lossless image content, meaning that saving image data to a PNG format and then reading it back results in the exact same pixel values. PNG also has an optimized storage format designed for faster reading of the image data. It is the preferred image format for iOS."

Might just be simpler to avoid PS, tho and work only w/Preview.
