App Rejection Query

Hello,

We are located in Russia and we develop apps for taxi fleet management and we sell our program throughout the world. We have never had any problems with publishing our apps on app store until recently when one of our apps was rejected by Apple from listing citing US sanctions. We contacted them immediately and they asked us to get in touch with US dept. of the Treasury, which we did but, we didn't find any information about the sanction affecting our company. Besides, we already have our other apps published on the app store without any problems. So, what could be the possible reason for rejection? In any case, should we make an appeal against the rejection?

>should we make an appeal against the rejection?

I don't think an app appeal would matter. The rejection apparently isn't about your app - It is about your company (account). You might try asking support for account management help via the 'Contact Us' link below, but that may be a long shot.

I would recommend that you file an appeal listing the other apps that you have on the App Store and telling Apple that if they believe that their objections to this one app is justified then surely they should remove all of your apps from the App Store.

Note guideline #5:

5. Legal.........We know this stuff is complicated, but it is your responsibility to understand and make sure your app conforms with all local laws, not just the guidelines below.

Greetings, as in the end the question was solved? We are faced with the same problem.
