App concept rejected, but many apps with same concept available on the App Store!

We developed travel & dating app, it took 8 months. There are 3 keypoints. Meet, chat and travel. We submitted our app 2 months ago. Then Apple rejected our app because of concept.

Apple says, our app contains companionship dating/sponsored dating. There is nothing about sponsored dating in our app. We talked many times with apple customer representative, and we got nothing. She said "apple doesn't allow travel & dating app" many times.

There are many apps exist in App Store like ours. Let's look at "Travel Club" app. Here is title of Travel Club: "Travel Club - Meet and Travel". Go and check out "Tourbar". I can give many examples to travel & dating app.

So, what can we do? We can not get an answer from the representative.

Is it correct to read 'between your lines' and conclude that your app contains 'companionship dating' although it does not contain 'sponsored dating'? If so, the phrase "contains companionship dating/sponsored dating" can be interpreted as "contains either companionship dating or sponsored dating" not "contains companionship dating and sponsored dating" and your objection, "(t)here is nothing about sponsored dating in our app", fails to address their stated concern.

What he said, plus the existance of apps on the App Store with similar functionality have no bearing on whether or not your app will be approved. They may have slipped through the cracks, or been approved at a time when the rules were different.
