As I've not found a solution yet I cant really help, but we might nail down the issue.
Do you have a ATV 4K 2021?
Is there absolutely no response from your remote or just on the volume?
What if you stream video from your iPhone / iPad via AirPlay to the ATV? Video fine but no audio?
On what 15.1 version exactly is your ATV?
