I have a series of 4 titles that date back 15(!) years in the app store. The games are series (like Super Mario Brothers) - where the game play is largely identical - but the levels are entirely different. 3 versions of the game share much of the source code.
I recently tried to release an update to one of them - and found my app rejected due to being "Spam."
"Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam"
"Specifically, this app is available in the same locations as another identical app you submitted to the App Store."
I've tried appealing - and even sent app review videos of a happy customer playing different installments of the series all-the-way-through.
I long ago gave up charging for the game (there aren't even ads). I am trying to keep them up-to-date largely because they are still popular with kids and retro-gamers.
When I expressed confusion about why now - after 15-years there is suddenly a problem - I received:
"Thank you for your reply. Please note that previous approval to the App Store does not guarantee future approvals. All apps, including updates, undergo a complete review to ensure compliance with the most current version of the App Review Guidelines."
"Before we can approve this app to the App Store, you will need to make the appropriate changes to your app to bring it into compliance."
I have been given no clear guidance on how to address this issue.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I (think) I just signed up for the Apple Vision Pro developer labs - but am not sure if it went as intended.
After submitting my screenshots - I was pushed to a screen prompting me to sign-out of my Apple account.
No indication I successfully submitted a request / no email.
Has that been other people's experience?
